There's a free app called Tunein.  You can type in WDGY.  They are the Johnnie affiliate in the Twin Cities.  I'm assuming they still stream the game during the playoffs.  Clear signal.  Nice.

First post and has some great, useful information for the Johnnie Nation.
+K and welcome to the boards!
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

HA!  I'm not supposed to laugh at anything you say, CT, but that was pretty good.

Welcome, JC. It's great to have you here.

Huh, I use Tunein, but I'd never thought of streaming the game audio through it.  I can usually pick up WDGY at my house, but it's not as clear.  Thanks!!!

SJUrube

I think it's fair to say most of the Johnnie faithful were cautiously optimistic throughout the regular season. Wins were piling up but the offensive output was far different than what we'd come to expect from our championship teams. In the big games, notably UST & Bethel, there was a more diversified approach and Bungum & Martin hopefully found a strong connecting during the regular season finale against Olaf.

Now that winter has arrived before any of us were expecting it I'm hopeful that SJU's old school approach can and will pay dividends through the playoffs. It's going to be cold in the Midwest and ground and pound is what we have. Old school football looks good in Collegeville and it can look good on the road too, whether it's Waverley, Whitewater, etc.

OFFICIAL NOTICE:

Due to the utterly lame and virtually non-existent Wartburg support, I have decided to cheer against them this weekend and have a good go at them on the IIAC boards.  I'm not cheering for the Tommies mind you, just against Wartburg.

There are no CSS or Wartburg supporters anywhere.  This post season has been quieter than the streets of Chernobyl.  We need Johnnie and Tommie victories to bring some life to this party so we can celebrate the playoffs properly.  Sheesh.

More awards for Augsburg's Ayrton Scott and Joey Sonnenfeld. Both made the Final D3football.com team of the week.

UST's Brenton Braddock also made it.

Nice New York Times story on St. Scholastica's coaching nun, Sister Lisa. Written by Pat Borzi, who's written a lot of good D3 stories over the years at various places.

Apologies to the D3 gang, Badger, but as a liberal Manhattanhite, I only get my news from the NY Times.

Those who read about St. Scholastica in the NYT will see them referred to as "a powerhouse" -- I think Pat Borzi knows better from my conversations with him in recent years but maybe he couched it better and the New York media elite :) pumped it up a bit.
