While the final 4 fight it out for the top spots, who do you like in the next 11 slots?

Here's my take:

1.
2.
3.
4.
5. Wartburg
6. John Carroll
7. UMHB
8. Hobart
9. St. John's
10. Johns Hopkins
11. Widener
12. Wheaton
13. Wabash
14. St. Thomas
15. Washington and Jefferson

Feel free to talk among yourselves.

I really don't follow non MIAC teams very close (other than Wartburg this year) so I really can't make a qualified ranking, nor do I really care. But I will throw out my 2 cents between SJU and UST. I think UST was a much better team the last half of the year with Gould at qb and I would rate them pretty even, if not better, than SJU (especially if you take into account SJU without Sura). This is my opinion of how the 2 teams would stack up against each other if they were to play against each other now, not how they were earlier in the year. I will probably get flamed by SJU fans, but it is just my opinion.

St. Thomas has 3 players listed

MIAC - 22 players listed on the All Region Teams. WIAC- 20 players listed on the All Region Teams. Take from that what you will. I guess, though, if you go on a per capita (per team actually) basis, the WIAC comes out on top, but, I'll take my victories any way I can.

Pre-season training is back in full swing for Hawthorn. It looks like their big pick-up James Frawley, who is a full back (deep defence) and the big free agent this last year, is ready to rumble with the full forwards, some of whom are real gorillas. Frawley was listed as 6'4" an 207lbs last year. While I don't think he's grown taller, he sure looks like he's bulked up a bit.

Tom "Tomahawk" Hawkins plays full forward for Geelong and stands 6'5" and weighs 231.  Collongwood's Travis Cloke measures 6'5" and weighs 238. I think we're in for some heavyweight UFC action down in the forward line this year. It looks like Hawthorn is working an iron wall backline bursting out with blistering speed forward game plan.

WD- that seems reasonable to me  8-)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I am sitting at home channel surfing and imagine my surprise to see that one of the PBS channels is showing old Tonic Sol-Fa Christmas concerts. I Googled them and they are an a Capella group founded at St. John's! Last Christmas this station showed Shawn Johnson's Christmas concert (he is in this group too). It is like the Portland PBS station has an SJU connection.

Massey predicts two very close games this weekend.  Should be some top viewing.

I was at an office today where I spotted this sign in the restroom. It says one thing when employees must be reminded to wash hands after using the toilet. It says something else when a company thinks the proper reminder is not a simple sign but instead a nine-step, illustrated guide.

I reckon that you've served up a softball of a UST joke, but I'll let someone else hit it out of the park...

Yeah, Coach. The reason Widener lost 45-7 is because Linfield practiced at an NFL facility.

DuffMan

When we played at Linfield in 2002, I like to think that we won because Lewis & Clark let us practice at their facility.  ::)
