A Jeopardy answer in the near future.

No joke. I read this classic line at the end of Dan Shaughnessy's article for the Boston Globe:
Quote
[The Pats] are champs again. And the record will show that 15 years after he was fired by Kraft, Carroll finally delivered a Lombardi trophy to New England.

Classic burn!

OMG! He Never Goes Away! ???
KARE 11 has Ryan Hoag in studio as a "a football expert & former NFL WR" to breakdown the goal line INT by the Pats over the Seahawks. You can't make this stuff up  ::)
For the love of all that is Holy- please get Larry Fitzgerald via satellite in Phoenix and ask his opinion- if you have to have a Minnesota angle on this!
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Was Fitzgerald ever on The Bachelorette?  No.

Wsa Fitzgerald ever on The Bachelor Pad?  No.

Come back when you know what you're talking about, 105. Jeez.

I am shagged, as they say in the Empire, and ready for refreshment.

Me:

My Justification:

Since beer is a topic, I just had my first "Sweet Baby Jesus" from Duclaw brewing.

Not sure if this has been discussed.   I was told to pour it over a scoop of Vanilla Bean Ice cream (which I did).
Words can not descibe my enjoyment of that....
Although the thought of drinking more than one makes my teeth hurt...it's like drinking a liquid Reeses Cup...

That is all...

Anyone on the board going to make it up to Walker and Leech Lake for the Eelpout Festival February 19-22? Always a great event. Unfortunately, I don't believe the Bikini Ice Fishing Team will be present. :'( Go to info@eelpoutfestival.com to check out the schedule and events.

I should have also mentioned the Bock Fest at the Schell's Brewery on Saturday, February 14 in New Ulm. It goes from 11 - 4:30 p.m. It is outside the brewery on the fest grounds.

DuffMan

JJR, we're celebrating Bock Fest with friends in Champlin this year.  A keg of Schell's Bock has been reserved, and a suitable red-hot poker has been procured!

Oh, come on now.  You can't post that for a bunch of Midwesterners that can't get their mitts on it! (though, the Duffs are heading to Va/DC this summer, so I will try to remember to seek it out)

FRIIIIDAAAAAAaaaaaaaay!

And now a winter quiz for the chilly, eelpout festivaling crowd:

What's the difference between a snowman and a snow woman?

This is pretty kool!

A KOOL DEAL: SJU HOME FOOTBALL GAMES, COACHES' SHOW TO BE TELEVISED IN 2015

What I'd really like to know, though, is if the live game webcast will be via Stretch Internet again, or if a reliable provider has been secured?
