On the serious side, though, there has been a lot of crying over this slain beast which no one ever heard of before. Folks should have more pride.

We need a rim shot here.

I don't like what happened at all. The guy says he regrets taking the lion. I'll bet he does! I don't get the idea of a thrill by killing something that was led to slaughter, basically. Might as well shoot a Volkswagen.

I'm from Austin. It's not a thrill to work in the slaughter house at Hormel. It's a job.

I hate wishing away summer, but am excited for the season to get rolling!

Amen to that!  As much as I love the D3 season, I'm glad that it's not here yet.
Same boat here guys however I have put the brakes on summer and have crawled to this point with the anticipation of our oldest daughter starting college this fall.

At Auggie or St. Ben's?  ;)
Sorry guys she is going to the U of M.
THe U has some fantastic specialty programs. My buddies' wife is a food scientist at G-Mills & a large percent went to the U, then there is the Carlson School which we discussed earlier, and the medical school & the law school. The U has some fantastic opportunities!
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Thanks for the support 105. We are proud of her and her decision to go to the U. The nice 4 year scholarship she was offered helped make the decision an easy one.  The other Big Ten School that offered was Iowa so it was a no brainer in my opinion.

Saw another picture of the anti-dentite protesters in Bloomington.

One of them holding a sign that read:

#CAT LIVES MATTER

You can't make this stuff up.

I'm with you Hazz......just when you think you've seen everything. The question I have is, are these protesters organic or are they being bused in to the "protest of the week"  ???
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I wasn't sure if it was possible, but it's true. The internet does have everything.

An inorganic protester.

Just about to head out the door and make the drive to Collegeville to pick the little one up from Leadership Camp.  Really looking forward to spending a day on the most beautiful campus in Minnesota.

Anyone buy the Kickoff 2015 advertised on D3football? I thought I'd splurge a bit and try it out this year

You might be right....it was an absolutely glorious day to be in Collegeville.  Almost didn't want to come home.
It was so peaceful up there today.  I snapped a few photos.
