Looking forward to a regular season full of 1pm kickoffs.

Is UST not on WCCO this year?  Their games always started at 1:10 the past couple of years due to that, right?

I believe UST has purchased air time again on WCCO for all games.

Home teams set game times in the MIAC. UST travels to SJU this year for a 1pm kickoff. The Good Neighbor will need to adjust their top of the hour news break.

Right - but I believe in the past, they've adjusted to a 1:10 start for UST even if at home...at least I know that Bethel did.

According to the UST schedule, SJU is the only one not planning to capitulate, as all of their MIAC games are at 1:10, home or away, except for SJU.

Most MIAC schools have adjusted the start times to accommodate WCCO. SJU has not been one of them. I don't know who made the call on the SJU side to keep kickoff at 1pm but I love it.

After winning my Fantasy League championship last year I decided to change my team name.

Somewhere Over Dwayne Bowe is now Discount Belichick.

Just purchased Kickoff 2015!. Now I get to read how my squad is expected to fare with Wartburg, Bethel, Whitewater and the rest of the WIAC on the schedule. Brutal. Maybe not so good.  :-X

But, for a measly $11 I feel good about supporting this site and look forward to the season.

BTW, Bethel and Wartburg are home games for me. If any regular poster of these schools wants to hang with me I've got 4 seats on the 50 and I'll be glad to host. Just PM me.

As did I.  Wonder if Pat would be able / willing to post a leaderboard for conferences with the most purchases based on the "favorite team" selected?

Bought mine a few days back, my very first one

Enjoy! IMO, it's as good as most national publications cover the Power 5, in terms of each team. It's quite an impressive effort. We're a spoiled lot.

I've got my kickoff.

I've also got highlights of what is (hopefully) the Grand Final preview. It was a hard, desperate match between Hawthorn and West Coast out in Perth. Hawthorn got up by 14 points.

Glen's going to have to sprint across the field in front of his team to make up that ten minutes.

That's going to take some coordination and planning so that he can maintain his hand holding.

Now, that's funny  8-)

Uh.... Augsburg 62 - Bethel 61. The Auggies were playing a Bend Don't Break Defense!

Don't think too many would consider giving up 61 points as bending but not breaking.  ;) Hope they play the same bend but don't break defense against us this year!

I know the conditions in that game were horrendous last year, but this might have been Sonnenfeld's coming out party.  Sura and Tusler are stud running backs, but Sonnenfeld is a game changer as well.  Augsburg would be wise to try and get the ball in Sonnenfeld's hands even more than they have in the past.

I have the same thought.  I would put Sonnenfeld in the same category as Sura and Tusler without a doubt. I would also have no problem adding Scott to that list.

The Sandlot

One of my all time faves. (as you can see per my profile pic).  Sports Movie?  Yeah, but more of a "Coming of Age" movie, IMO.

Hoosiers got my vote...my HS basketball coach would play that movie on every road game that required a coach bus, which was typically 2 or 3 a year, so we got a regular dose of that in grades 9-12.
