Don't get me wrong, I love all the off-season banter, but I am ready for more of this in 2015!

I never thought these words would be written by me, but thank God for brave airmen.

Also, the words to the Team America theme song keep sounding in my head:

America! F*** Yeah!
Comin' again to save the m************ day, yeah

Here a some links...it appears you can watch the game online and follow them via twitter.
Did they really have those hideous Italia jerseys made for the trip or is that just photoshop.
I'm leaning towards not photoshop.

CT, could you clarify on the funding of this Italian trip? Was this paid for by each individual player/parents or was there some sort of school sponsored fundraiser to pay for the trip?
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Generally when schools go on those kind of trips, it's a combination of the two. Some of it comes from a team's budget, some of it is fundraised by the program for it and some is paid out of the student-athlete's pocket.

Minor correction made.

Mostly by parents...But the kids also stayed at University of St. Thomas' Bernardi Campus, located on the west bank of the Tiber River at Lungotevere delle Armi in Rome for 4 Days which helped on boarding cost a lot.

In the end it's always the parents that pay.  Through the nose.  Like Davey Scatino.

My cousin is set to be ordained as a priest in the next few months, and according to my aunt, the only thing more expensive that putting a kid through college is putting a kid through the seminary.  Apparently, chalices are quite expensive.

They have to buy their own chalices?  Can't they lease with an option to buy?

Thanks CT (and Pat)- this poses a question. If there is a kid who is on the bubble and his parents aren't flush with cash (I know, far fetched at U$T) and the decision is made to forego the trip,is his fate sealed? Is he on GC's "not invited to camp list"?

I reckon, just as much as the next Johnnie, that CT is heartless.  But Joseph Kony he ain't.
