Montana upsets North Dakota State in the opener 38-35  :o
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

How does smoked pulled pork sound for Saturday up at the Johnnie tailgate?  I've got a shoulder in the freezer that I need to cook soon.  I'm assuming there will be a pretty big crowd at the pre-game.  Maybe I'll do two.

Sounds like a treat.  This first weekend of the season is both my favourite and my worst.

Duff: found some Surly when I was in Bemidji-furious and hell-do you like them?

I love Furious.  Hell, I can take or leave.

I like Hell. Fiery Hell is the only beer I've ever had that I would call spicy, not really for me.

Another great weekend at the Stiftungsfest in Norwood Young America. The burgers, as always, were excellent. Time to start gearing up for the Stiftungsfestivities tailgate party this coming Saturday morning before the game. Faunch, that would be great to have the smoked pulled pork. I have an order in for pork patties from Ruck's Meat Market in Belle Plaine. Still have to get the order in for the burgers.

They beat Coe last year. Fred Jackson played at Coe. Fred Jackson is an NFL Running Back. Coe played SJU in 2002. It was cold. Coe lost. Duffman played with no sleeves. I predict a Johnnie victory. 8-)

Frank R. is doing his MIAC team previews this week in the SC Times.  Today is Concordia

http://www.sctimes.com/story/sports/college/hockey/husky-hockey/2015/09/01/miac-football-previews-concordia/71557276/

He has already completed Augsburg, Hamline, St. Olaf, and Carleton and links to those teams are on the top of the article.
