Heading to Collegeville w/ my newest companion today. He went up in Feb for an indoor track meet but this will be his first Johnnies football game.

Can't wait for him to see Gary lead the team onto  the field, front & center, holding hands, w/ some silly message like SMILE on his shirt.

That's pretty funny. Repeat it twice, and slowly, for the coeds.

Thanks for the intro Oz,
Q: What's the difference between a UST(d) coed and an ironing board?
A: It's difficult to open the legs of an ironing board.

Thank you very much I'll be here all week, remember to tip your waitstaff at UST it's called achieving your career goals.  8-)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Looks like a nice day-stay healthy and win big

A great game by the johnnies today.  They played three lines deep in the fourth quarter.

I'll be setting the alarm and getting up early for the next two weeks. Big games coming up.

Oshkosh has completed the exceedingly rare, if not unprecedented, 86-0 quadruple monkeystompout of Finlandia. Why bother playing When the teams are that mismatched?  No one gets anything from it.

Game time here in Saint Paul, and it's a beautiful night for a rivalry game.  Go non-fighting scots!

Finlandia is a new program, and truly, truly pathetic.  Last week they lost 43-0 to MIAA perennial last-place team Alma.  Their next two games are against UWW and UWSP, so they are likely to be 0-4 without scoring a single point.  After that they play a dog's breakfast of horrible d3 teams and church-league teams, so they may eventually score some points, but even with that later schedule, they may still go winless.  A quadruple monkeystompout of Finlandia (formerly Suomi College) just might be more a point of shame than a bragging point.

Finlandia at least gets games out of it.  To be more fair (and competitive) for their students, they perhaps should have started with CCs and JV teams, but I'm not sure if that would be allowed under D3 rules.  Alma gets a relatively rare win.  The WIAC always complains about the difficulties of scheduling games, so they at least get 'sort of' games.
