I don't know how SJU would process 20,000 people in and out of campus, and I might think it would be borderline dangerously full in the Bowl.

We'll just tell 'em to carpool--REALLY CARPOOL.

... I won't be surprised if the official attendance is over the 20,000 mark. ...

20,000 is pretty big. The best the rivalry could muster was a little over 16,000 in a game that combined Johnnie-Tommie AND SJU Homecoming.

However, I wouldn't complain if it were above 20k. That would be awesome.

I'm sure they'd find a way.   ;)

With 20,000 there will be people falling off the wooded hillside to left of the scoreboard.  On the plus side, the student section might return after halftime.

What's the difference between a square of shingles and a UST(d) coed?

When you lay a square of shingles it doesn't follow you around for two weeks whining

Travel information for this Saturday in Collegeville has been released.  One item that caught my eye is the following:   http://www.gojohnnies.com/news/2015/9/21/FOOTBALL_0921153301.aspx
- No unsanctioned buses will be allowed on campus.

I guess that means that party busses loaded with intoxicated U$T coeds will not be allowed on campus.

What about this?

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for visiting students with ID's.

It's an increase...however:
Tommies did it first.
Johnnies put in additional end zone seating every season...got to do something make up for the cost.  That  and paying Stearns County Law Enforcement to issue consumption citations to U$T students!

Regular Admission:
Clemens Stadium (cap. 7,482)
CSB/SJU Students (with ID): Free
General Admission: $8
Children (ages 7-17): $6
Visiting Students (with School ID): $6
Children (under 6 years old): Free

I thought I might just point out that we give hell to UST every year for gouging the Johnnie Nation.  We'll have to pause half a second to dismiss the feelings of hypocracy when we do it again next time.

faunch: You are looking at this all wrong, just because the Tommies did it first doesn't make it right.
The SJU Sports Marketing Department needs to take a page out of the Minnesota Twins marketing playbook and call it what it is "Demand-Based Pricing" ::)

I've changed my tune:
$500 per party bus
$50 for reserved seating on the visiting sideline (that or we only let J-Club members sit there so they can yell insults at the Tommie bench the entire game).
$15 admission for anyone wearing purple when they purchase their ticket!

;D

Is anyone planning on going to the Sportscenter broadcast?  Were I a single guy, I might go, but I know the Mrs. and the kids would like to go to the game, so I plan on rolling in later in the morning.  I need to formulate a parking plan...

I thought you parked in St. Joe and rode your bike on big game days . . .

Dylan, I have, but I'll have the family in tow this time, so that's not an option.

I read in that article that there is a bus running from CSB to the game.  Would work OK getting to the game but would be hell leaving.

Too bad there is nothing to do or see on campus after a game to occupy your time instead of standing in a line for a bus back to St. Joe...

My thoughts, exactly.  We'll shuttle it from Flynntown, I am sure.  Our 4-year old loves the bus rides. :)
