Dlip is watching the ESPN coverage and the kids are going ****ing ballistic at St.Johns! It's really great to see.

Also watching it here in WV,   Absolutely a beautiful thing to watch.  Go Johnnies!   ;D
Ditto western Colorado  :)

Johnnies have headshots of players.
Tommies have headshots of Caruso.

Gary comes off so humble in this video clip.  Glenn sounds like he's making a sales pitch.  Am I wrong?
U$T has been on ESPN and the national scene 4 times in the last 4 years?  That sounds a bit high.

The same number as SJU national championships. How long does it take to fill a trophy case w/ national TV appearances?

I had the same thought. He had a chance to recognize that this game is bigger than the men coaching today, maybe give credit to the fans and players. Instead of a big picture statement he sounded a bit like Frank Burns from M*A*S*H.

Game day at SJU deserves a double UST(d) coed joke:

What is the UST(d) coed mating call?

I'm sooooo druuunk!

*************************************************************************************

What's the first thing a UST(d) coed says in the morning?

"Thanks, guys...."

LOL +K

What a perfect day for this major game. Someone please take a picture with Chicago Tommie and post it!
(preferably with him holding a major wad of cash wrapped in a rubber band)

Amazing scene this morning in Collegeville. So much energy and excitement. Great crowd. Lots of creative signs. I'll post photos tomorrow.

Great showcase for St. John's. Wish it hadn't been so darn early.

ESPN crew was so awesome. Thanking SJU for allowing them to do the show at SJU.

Now the boys need to come up big on the field. Several mentions of the distractions this week for the team.

Personally I think it should be the other way around, that SJU should thank ESPN. I think it would be a benefit and an honor for SJU to get some national exposure. I'm sure there are plenty of other schools in the country that would like to host the show even if it is a bit of a distraction.

I'm sure there were reciprocal thank yous.
You can correct me if I'm wrong, ROR, but it appears you were noting that ESPN was very classy, going above and beyond to say "thanks for having us!"
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Clemens is filling up quickly.  Parking lots were also packed at 1130, maybe they'll park them over at St. ben's?  Beautiful day!

Actually, SDSU (SoDak State) started a Twitter campaign yesterday to get ESPN to come in for their big game against NDSU in October.  See today's Sioux Falls Argusleader.

SC on the road wasn't broadcast here. Fascists.

Hopefully I'm able to pick up a copy on the interwebs.

I can't believe I got up at 5am to watch the last hour. Lot's of fun and makes me proud to be a Bennie...but now I need a nap! 8-)
