Wonder if we'll see a UWW/St. John's in the first round..Then winner goes to St. Thomas?

Then again, I don't know if the committee will keeo UWO, UWW, St. John's, St. Thomas and Linfield all in the same region of the bracket. St. John's or UWW might be moved to the North.
This year is unique. Don't be surprised if MWC and or IIAC champs don't get moved out of the "West" also...... A lot of football to play, but all this speculating is fun  :D

Hey "sand PUSSY-cat" why are the Tommies Classless? Besides what I just typed😄?

that will work too then   CLASS  UWW/SJU  beats classless tom's and UWW/SJU heads to the pacific northwest. ;D

A team that has had more kids on the AFCA Good Works Team than just about any other school ever, the players volunteer at St. Jude's and Habitat for Humanity and our starting RB is in the seminary. Just classless.

The first regional rankings are on d3football.com.

West Region   SOS   Notes
1 St. Thomas 8-0 8-0
2 UW-Oshkosh 6-0 7-1
3 Linfield 7-0 7-0
4 Wisconsin-Whitewater 4-1 7-1
5 Saint John's 7-1 7-1
5 Whitworth 7-1 7-1
7 UW-Platteville 6-2 6-2
8 Dubuque 6-2 6-2
9 Wartburg 7-1 7-1
10 St. Norbert 6-0 8-0

I saw Whitworth play a couple of weekends back and I'll get to see the Johnnies this weekend. Afterwards, I'll let you know if I think they should still be tied.

If the order doesn't change, sucks to be a Linfield supporter as it looks like they'll be travelling soon and often in the post season.

They have to win in Arden Hills first ;D. Obviously I am rooting for the Royals to give the Knights a chance to get in!

Bench, I have no doubt the Tommies are filled with great people, but based on AFCA's love affair with 8-time coach of the year Caruso, I don't know how much we can read into the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team thing. I have a feeling the Tommies and, to steal a bit from Drew Magary, BIG INSURANCE, are pretty much in cahoots.

Their Good Works Team run predates Caruso.
Unless I'm missing something I only see Mehlhorn from Bethel. https://www.afca.com/article/article.php?id=2681

There seems to be some unanswered questions surrounding the UST Football program and said Good Works Team.

I'm sure AO can get the accurate records and confirm if UST is indeed the model for citizenship, charity and compassion in the world of D3 Football.
