Like USTBench said, the NCAA should outsource the selection process. Maybe to some group with more logic like road construction planners, ISIS summer picnic organizers and presidential debate question writers.
Follow the money BDB. Limit flights to save money is rule #1. So LaVerne comes to UST in 30 degree temps while Whitworth takes a bus to McMinnville. Regional finals is where all the air travel starts.  ::)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Ah yeah, 424 miles of sagebrush and 11 hours and 23 minutes.

They're all asleep.
I'll smite you just to get to 600.
They'll take it from there.
(feel free to reciprocate)

So, does UST two-point trick play this weekend?

No film.... studying.
I forgot all about an integral part of this board.

FINAL STANDINGS

Congratulations ChicagoTommie, 2015 MIAC PICK-EMS CHAMPION!

MIAC Board's Sign of the Apocalypse;)

JK, congrats CT

DuffMan

Interesting bracket.  The U$T bracket's got 2 from MN and 1 each from IA, MI, IN, KY, VA, and CA.

Though the Johnnies beat Dubuque handily 2.5 months ago, I'm not so sure it'll come that easily this time.  I hope it does, but we shall see.

A tradition unrivaled...
MIAC Champions: '32, '35, '36, '38, '53, '62, '63, '65, '71, '74, '75, '76, '77, '79, '82, '85, '89, '91, '93, '94, '95, '96, '98, '99, '01, '02, '03, '05, '06, '08, '09, '14, '18, '19, '21, '22, '24
National Champions: '63, '65, '76, '03

That is a funny video Tom Thumb. St. Thomas will host... St. Schola... Luverne! Luverne? Like the town in Fargo Season 2?

Take care of business, and then it's time to set a Division III NCAA playoff attendance record.

I know nothing about La Verne, but a brief look at their roster tells me that (a) they do not have a single American player on the roster hailing from north of Central California (they, do, however have a Freshman Brit WR! Tally-ho!) and (b) that they are pretty small upfront on offense and defense.  Could be a long, cold day in St. Paul for the Leopards.

Saturday after Thanksgiving....it would be a good sized crowd but no chance of an attendance record.  Maybe a playoff attendance record.

I wanted to drop a quick congratulations to Mr. Scott and the Auggies!  I for one, am thankful that his 4 year reign of terror on the BU defense is over.  For whatever reason, whether it's him excelling against the 3-4 front, or maybe he just see's something about Bethel's defense, he has done very well against them in his 4 years....barely lost to BU as a freshman, very close game in his sophomore year in 2013, vs. what was arguably one of Bethel's best teams every, and got wins as a Jr. and Sr.  Confusing, as BU managed to do better against the likes of SJU and UST...Hazzbeen would probably have some insight regarding his ability to repeatedly torch BU.

Anyhow, hopefully Bethel can bounce back next year...thanks to the seniors.  Not an ideal senior season, but I think they've really got some good younger talent on the team, so I think they've laid the groundwork for what could be a great team in a year or two.

Really looking forward to watching SJU and UST in the playoffs, but wish there were potential for both of them to have longer runs, rather than knowing only one will be alive after the second round.

Tom Thumb
