Obviously, it's going to be tough sledding for the 'Cats to knock off UST but I'm looking forward to seeing how we stack up.  Go 'Cats!

Hopefully no actual sledding will be required in this game. :)
mrs_jamto saw the updated forecast and might already be backing out on me, after enlisting her mom to watch the kids already. Although looking again, this morning's forecast for next Saturday (snow) has already changed.  I'd love a good snow game - hoping that might favor a healthy enough Jordan Roberts and the St Thomas ground game.

Massey picks the Tommies 41 - 24.

What more do you boys want?  ::) You already have 1. home field,2. Massey, and now you want SNOW too :o

I will take any part of that spread .. send e-mail ;D

I think the game on Saturday will come down to class, which is a big thing in the MIAC. UST's success was correlated with its lack of class this year. If Linfield can be just a tiny bit more classless than UST, then they have a shot at going to Salem.

That's next to impossible.

A tradition unrivaled...

We'll take whatever we can get... Linfield's passing offense makes me nervous, as it's something we haven't faced recently.

Are there any full game videos of Linfield this year? I found a lot of mashed-up highlights, but nothing from the broadcast that can give me a feel for the overall and style and key players to watch for.

Tommies will play their best and win!  Jorden is good to go so is Kaiser...They are going to pound the rock, right though Linfield!  The team is really pumped and extremely confident!  The OL for the Tommies is really ready...They now average over 308 LBS across the line. They are very very well prepared for Linfield...

GO TOMMIES!!!

Anyone think Gustavus' passing attack is on the same level as Linfield? I have not seen Linfield play this year so I have no clue. I am using my phone so it's a little difficult, but it appears Riddle and Hendricks are statistically amongst the best in D3. I'm not quite sure how the Boyce brothers stack up against Linfield's WRs either.

What will the traveling contingent look like from Linfield? With the program y'all have, I imagine you get some strong road support?

St John's two weeks ago, the stands were obviously packed. I was impressed with the crowd from Wabash, decent numbers, and even feistier than the Johnnie fans.

Ah, but what say TouchdownTommy?

The President of the CAC (Classless Azzholes Club) has not been seen in these parts for some time. I'm thinking TDT made a post or 2 in the summer but I'm not sure.

I don't know how much this helps, but my quick analysis on WRs:

Linfield's receivers won't wow you with speed, but they are big and athletic. The QB (whichever one starts) loves to throw the ball up and give them a chance to make a play. They make a lot of great catches, but they don't get a ton of YAC. The four leading receivers this last week, against Mary Hardin-Baylor, line up at: 6'3, 6'2, 6'0 and 6'0. They have one "speed" guy, that is actually their leading receiver, but he wasn't in the box score this last week.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like it will be an interesting matchup. UST's corners, Mozus and Jordan, are 6'2 and 6'1 respectively. Mozus is 204 pounds and Jordan is listed at 193 pounds. They've really relied on those guys heavily this year.

Did he injure himself or are you proud that a Linfield player injured him?
