No.  And the U$T points come off of an interception return when Linfield tries the behind-the-back pass and U$T sniffs it out like they've been practicing for it all year.

Well look at that. And y'all were trying to argue that there was no justification for it... It'll save us from a shutout!

Mr.MIAC

Well, I'm signing off to catch a flight and won't be back online until after the game. I think it's going to be a great contest between two closely matched teams. Best wishes and safe travels to all involved. Considering it's nearly Christmas, I'll just leave you with one final question: Who will Jesus be rooting for tomorrow? Go Tommies!

41 - 24, Tommies.

Be careful not to step in the mess I just made.

I am going to have to go with Linfield 35 UST 21. Why Linfield? Because there are some local young men on the Linfield team and it is not a cold day in hell yet! 8-)

If Linfield's wideouts can continue their impressive run of pulling down jump balls, then the Tommies are in for an up and down game.  If Roberts looks healthy for the Tommies, then Linfield may never have the time of possession to win the game of averages on those jump balls.

That said, I think the Tommie DBs put a freeze on Linfield's jump ball game and put the Cats in a few 4th and longs.  Which should lead to short fields for the UST offense.  And an early lead once again.  The Tommie D holds in a low scoring second half.  Tommies 29, Linfield 17......in a game that will feel much much closer.  Here is hoping both teams come out injury free - with the victor primed to execute at the Stagg bowl.

Tommies 35, Linfield 24.  In a game that is closer than the score.  In a game that is 28-24 going into the fourth, the Tommie D makes a stand around midfield, then the O goes on a punishing, demoralizing, 15 play, 8:30 drive, pounding in a 3rd and goal from the 2 with 3 minutes left.
