Speaking of catfish, is there still a Jax on University Nordeast?
I haven't been there since before the turn of the century. Never had catfish there but walleye and beer cheese soup. Used to be a good place.
BTW tried to OD on catfish again at the Stone House - eat your heart out troops ;D

Still there, still tasty. Ate there once, on my first day at a previous job.

Hmmm...this might add to the Perra transferring to UST rumors.

Take a look at who liked Jeff Wald's recent tweet: https://twitter.com/jrwald7/status/685159201182711813

Nice find!

Either he's amused by the tweet, or he's hinting...

I'm interested to see how it shakes out!

Man, it's almost as if Tom Thumb is good at investigating things.  :)

Ha!  ;)

Helping him in the process is his hs coach, Chris Simdorn. NDSU alum and hall of fame inductee for FB up there. The Bison starter graduates this year. However he has been injured a large portion of the season, and the Freshman QB that has jumped in has played great against the meat of their schedule and in the playoffs. UNI, USD, SDSU could all be possibilities though that is a tough transition for a city kid used to the U of M campus.

No matter where he goes, if he wants to jump into the fray for spring practice (very important for a QB) he will have to decide in the next week or two to get enrolled. Guessing this process will play out quickly. Some schools even start classes next week.

Yeah, I wonder if he already applied to a few schools before he asked for his release. It usually takes at least a few weeks for a school to process one's application for spring enrollment. Are most MIAC schools on a rolling admissions cycle?

Former Augsburg OC (1995) is the new OC for the Gophers. The jury is still out. Did Claeys find a sleeper or take his 3rd choice off a 4-8 team in 2015?

What happened the five years to play four rule?

No clock in Division III. You have 10 semesters to play four years -- but that's 10 semesters of being enrolled full-time. Not enrolled? Doesn't count.

I just watched the press conference that introduced Johnson and Miller. The reporter quickly quoted Jack Osberg and referred to Johnson's days of coaching at Augsburg. Jack is the real deal. Glad to see him get some more respect.

Last Wednesday 57 gave a class on the US Constitution at the local high school.  Amazing how much more I know about it than they do. Of course, they weren't there when it was ratified.    :D

I'm having a nice Sunday afternoon watching the bengals/steelers game and I've discovered that commercial time for NFL games is significantly cheaper in Australia than in the states. How much cheaper?

This much: http://youtu.be/Kb9EvNbd-co

Wow.  What's worse that classless?  Disgraceful.

Burfict is a disgrace. Cincinnati should drop him. A guy like that is a cancer in the locker room.

That was the worst thing I've seen in football in a while. The team as a whole just collapsed and played like it was lawless.

It might be time to part ways with Marvin Lewis too.

Those are some pretty slick highlights.  He's got a heck of an arm and great awareness.  I hope your insight is accurate.

It would be nice to pick up that recoever #1 as well. I don't think anyone was closer than two yards on any of his catches.

I'm sitting here wondering why a Penn St. walk-on would now list SJU on his Twitter feed.  Would love to get a few more of those athletes too.
