Dang, Oz, but should you be reporting those in Celsius?  Last week, we swung from a high of 34 F on Thursday to a high of 0 F on Sunday.  Not quite the swing of Melbun, but close!

True, but I always like the 0 / 32 gap.  The look on Mrs Oz's face when I claimed she would be wearing a t-shirt at 32 as we headed into her first winter was funny.  I told her that once you've been below zero then 32 feels tropical. Sure enough she was walking around in a t-shirt at 32 in disbelief the next Spring.

Yeah, but when you get to 40 below it all feels the same.

I know this the football board but I just have to vent that the video stream for the SJU / U$T basketball game is freezing up.  Stretch seems to have issues handling demand.

Old Auggie -

Noticed in BU's hoops loss to the Auggies last night that Sonnenfeld wasn't playing, and isn't on the roster?

He played hoops and football last year, right?

He did play both last year, but isn't playing basketball this year.  He's hoping to get a look at the next level in football and is working out to prepare for that.  It'll be interesting to see if he catches on somewhere.

Yes he did play hoops last year and the year before. I don't have any inside info about this but by reading between the lines and a few tweets here there it sounds like he is training this winter. Guessing that he could be participating in the local pro day this spring.

Edit-Looks like this is confirmed. Yes it will be interesting to follow his progress.

More Wiscy non football talk on the MIAC football page:

Sun Prairie WI does the annual Groundhog Day gig. Last year, however the groundhog took a chomp on the Mayor's ear during the ceremony. I'm guessing they laid waste to the aggressive rodent since they are on the search for a new one to continue the tradition this year.

OzJohnnie

That's one of the few times I've seen red handed evidence of a politician letting a rodent chew on his ear. We know it happens all the time.
