My guess would be in the overflow lots behind the Science Building.

That would be garbage.   >:(
I agree with Duff - there's not enough parking by the church and isn't that grass "sacred ground"?  The Science Hall overflow lots don't have much room for "tailgate" activities, either.  The old 'flagpole lot' and the lot south of the old tennis courts would be the best..... or.... back by the Power plant???
All those lots are full of student cars...how are they gonna get them cleared out for us to move in? Won't work.
Sacred ground is the church. Grass is grass. Spray paint the logo in it. Have the choir sing a few from the church steps. Put the party in the middle and listen to the bells ring. Tents, biffs etc. can go in the parking spots on east and west sides. A nice downhill stroll to the game.
Don't doubt Fins on this. Remember, they used to tell all you freshmen you couldn't drink beer out there, too. All aboard...

For those new to this playground, remember this point, Fins is rarely wrong mistaken.
I just checked OddsShark.com and currently the line on the grass in front of the church is 3-5.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

If you have half an hour to spare and are interested in the fastest code of rugby then I recommend you check out the men's 7's final between Fiji and Great Britain. The Fijiians are monsters and they put on a masterclass of 7's rugby (7 a side in two seven minute halves).  Fast and hard.  It was also Fiji's first ever gold medal so they were all quite emotional.

Correction: first Olympic medal of any type. Population 900k.

Man I've been loving the 7's. I wish we had played 7's in college versus Union. Would have been a lot more fun. The U.S. women's team put on a credible showing. I didn't see all of the men's games, but I was impressed with how close they came to Fiji in the final Group A game. Almost pulled it out, though how much of that was Fiji just coasting in that game I couldn't tell you. I really feel 7's is the game that stands the most chance to catch on a bit in the U.S. It is just an absolute blast to watch.

Good luck to any proud pops that are dropping their boys off at fall camps this weekend!

Not to mention making it a lot easier to have a team at all.

Club teams are so heavily dependent on either having a very consistent coach (rare, but both the U of M and SJU have this) or heavy recruitment work from the current club to keep at least 20-30 guys engaged and on the team from season to season, which is difficult given that it's club, so people aren't as heavily engaged from the start, and that the majority of the interested folks are already playing varsity sports at MIAC type schools.

BU had a very good club while I was there (coach driven, by a guy who was there for 6 or 7 seasons but then had a young family and life got too busy), and in total had a team from about 2002 - 2010, but I believe they don't even play anymore due to numbers dropping off too far.  7's would make it far easier to field a team, and easier and more fun for new guys to learn the game.

I apologize for the off topic convo...

I'm glad you liked it.  My son and I ate there after a UMD camp last year.  Found out about it on an app called "TVFoorMaps" which maps out all the restaurants mentioned on DDD and similar shows.  Don't go to football camps without it.

Thanks DuffMan.  It will be fun sending him off to camp tomorrow, his friends gave him a great party last night.  I hope they all stay safe.

Duluth Grill is a great spot...it's actually owned by a HS teammate's parents.  It was just an Embers when they first bought it back in the early 2000's...they've really made it their own and a destination spot since then.

They're opening a new one on the west end of Duluth called the OMC Smokehouse (Oink, Moo, Cluck) in the next year or two...I'm sure it will be a winner too.

D3football.com gets a mention during the Packer preseason game as Wesley QB plays for Green Bay. I only know this because it's during a commercial in the Viking game.  ;D

Uh... Oops.  "Sorry about that everyone. Didn't think I would get caught.  Next time I promise to cheat more sneakily."

Susquehanna has declared itself ineligible for the 2016 postseason, vacated its five victories from 2015 and stripped the name of a prominent alumnus from its football stadium following an internal investigation that showed Nick Lopardo paid the tuition bill for a starting wide receiver for the Crusaders football team.

Maybe if they made the Playoffs, it might have been worth it.

Maybe this explains their recent rebranding. Link: http://wnep.com/2016/04/02/susquehanna-university-selects-river-hawks-as-new-mascot/

Q: Are the Susquehanna Crusaders violating NCAA recruiting rules?
A: The Susquehanna Crusaders? Never heard of 'em. We're the River Hawks. Move along...nothing to see here.
