Anyone else find it funny that the guy making the MIAC spreads is in last place?  ;D

Apologies for not mentioning this earlier. Kudos to the CSB/SJU team for their success at the great Minnesota get together this year. The Johnnies took first place in the FFA Tractor Driving contest and the Bennies brought home a blue ribbon in the Open Dairy Cattle event. Congrats! Know that even if the Tommie/Johnnie game doesn't go well for you all this year, you're still winners...
I'll assume this is your attempt at sarcasm & ridicule. As a former FFA member and state officer, I'm proud of my affiliation with that organization as well as my SJU diploma. And having grown up on a dairy farm (though I never showed cows-I just milked them), I am also proud of being a farm boy.
It appears you have little regard for e

Having grown up in rural ND as well as having attended UST maybe I can bridge the gap here so we're all on the same page, especially since Rev's assertions have put Bennie in a bad mOOOOOOOd. My agrarian roots led me into several livestock pavilions at the Minnesota State Fair over Labor Day weekend and I can assuredly say that NO Bennies took home a blue ribbon in ANY category, including dairy.

I think the thing that is really unfortunate, though, is that they didn't even place.

Screw ST Johns and ST be Dick's...it's TOMMIES  Johnnys week!!!!

I heard Johnnies have a strong affinity for tube socks and strong wifi connections. Is this true?

A Johnnie was driving down the road and a met a Ferrari with a UST sticker in the window coming the other way.  Although there was room to pass easily, the Johnnie forced the oncoming Tommie to slow down, wound down his window and shouted 'Pig!'  The Tommie could be seen looking in his rear view mirror and swearing at the Johnnie.  Then he hit the pig.

A Tommie coed was driving her husband's Lamborghini and parked in the supermarket car park. Just as she came out laden with shopping, she saw a young lad break into the car, hot wire it and drive off.  Naturally she reported the matter to the police.

"What did he look like?" the sergeant asked.

"I don't know," replied the coed, "but I got the licence plate."

I'd suggest that they were one in the same, but CJ is much more coherent than CT.

Long time reader. Anyone know what happened to Johnnie Underground? I've been receiving it for a number of years and haven't received anything this fall.

Sorry, mate.  I didn't notice you were a first time poster. Welcome!

However, that will likely make him less entertaining.

A Johnnie was on an internet chat room about Division 3 football and couldn't think of an original joke to write about rival St. Thomas, so he Googled "Good jokes" and replaced the protagonist in the joke with the word "Johnnie," and the antagonist in the joke with the word "Tommie."

That's it. There is no punchline.

Happy Johnnie-Tommie week. I have an idea for any posters attending the game this Saturday. After the game is over and we've all gone our separate ways for an hour or so, how about we meet back on the middle of the field for an impromptu photo opp.

I'm up for a group photo to memorialize what we hope will be a Tommie win. You don't even have to ask. This sort of thing comes second nature to us Tommies. Some years we find ourselves congregating on top of the SJU1 and no one can even remember how we got there. All are welcome to capture the memory of time spent with the F.A.M.I.L.Y.
