It's Leftover Friday!  :)
57, if you can find a raspberry pepper jam at your local grocer, it works good on cold turkey sandwiches. A slice of pepper jack cheese & crisp lettuce with sweet Vidalia onion and you have yourself a little bit of heaven.  ;D
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Sounds great especially on Dave's Good Seed bread --- ..... or Johnnie Bread  :)

Aretha Franklin's version of the National Anthem yesterday reminded me of this Simpson's classic:

Absolute train wreck.

My favorite tweet:
"If Colin Kaepernick took a knee during the Aretha Franklin version of the National Anthem, he'd need an orthopedic surgeon to stand again."...too bad.

As a hymn to white colonialism,  the National Anthem doesn't lend itself to a bluesy rendition.
Reality is for those who lack imagination 😀

I deleted a post I had just made because I missed the sarcasm font. Can we please keep the politics away from here?  Particularly the politics in football. We've got enough people trying to take all the fun out of fun.

In other news, a kid that went to elementary school with #1 was selected as the #1 pick in the AFL draft last night. His parents are actually Kanucks and I believe he was born in Canadia as well, but moved to Oz as an infant.

Keep your political BS out of here. And next time you go outside, kneel down and kiss the land of liberty and freedom, the fight for which is what the National Anthem is all about. "Hymn to white colonialism." What a jackazz.

It is spelled jackass ...

Over the years I have read this site there have  been plenty of political incursions  ... and given what I remember of Minnesota progressivism from the years I lived there as a local church pastor, I would expect a measure of tolerance.  Of course when the opinion of another doesn't match up with what you want to believe, well...
Reality is for those who lack imagination 😀

Yes, jackass. Being a resident of Wisconsin I cannot speak towards Minnesota progressivism. However, the history of our National Anthem is undeniable. A hymn of white colonialism it is not. A wartime song of fight for freedom it is.

Now, as a pastor that formerly was located in Minnesota as you say, I would expect that you would respect the truth. And you stating that this site has tolerated "plenty of political incursions" is not truth. That is not true. What is true is your try at it.  There are thousands of pages to go find it and prove me wrong. Each time it has been tried, we, the regulars of the MIACPP have asked that it stop. This is a site to celebrate D3 football, not bitch about politics.

So go away. Complain somewhere else, to someone else. And move to Canada if this country isn't good enough for you.
