Pat, if you'd be so kind as to uncap my spite privileges for the following 48 hours, I have some frustration to unleash. Appreciate the help, and thanks for understanding. I knew I could count on you.

If Pat allows your request be careful not to fumble alway the opportunity. But one wonders if your message could have been intercepted before reaching the intended target.

99.9% percent of the people outside of Minnesota would think you are talking about islands in the Caribbean if you mentioned St. John or St. Thomas.

As a neutral observer to all things SJU vs. UST let me point out that these 2 quotes are pretty frickin' funny.  8-)

Changing gears and moving ahead to next season.  Does anybody know or think that the Jays and Tommie$ be allowed to practice at Target Field on the Friday before the Sept. 23, 2017 game?  Considering the layout and how coaches like to control as much as possible (some a little more than others maybe).  Would the Johnnies come down and practice that Friday and stay in a hotel that night?
Tickets go on sale a week from Tuesday!

Twins are on the road between 18th - 28th. I would suspect setup starts Tuesday or so and teams get Friday walkthroughs. Nothing to base that on though.

There is some irony with 5 turnovers by the johns in the Tommie game this year.

Imagine if SJU had not fumbled the ball three times and thrown one interception.  With 5:08 to go in the fourth it was only a six point game.

I suppose we probably would have lost to Oshkosh at their place last week then, maybe with 9 or 10 turnovers instead. And y'all would have played Oshkosh yesterday at home.

Remember that SJU fumbled the opening kickoff and gave up a 57 yd fumble recovery for a touchdown with about two minutes to go in the first quarter.  All kidding aside I don't know how SJU managed to get it back to 6 point deficit in the fourth.  I think the game next year will a much closer affair.

I'm with you on that. As I looked at the box score yesterday to try to figure out how we stayed in that game, I noted the 9 punts that they had, with 6 returns for 133 yards. We also did much better on 3rd down.

Nick Waldvogel and the Tommie defense really played well, despite the circumstances. We made some impressive stops after giving them good field position after turnovers. And Fenske was a bit rattled in combination with their defense making some plays (especially Eagan, the CB with 3 ints).

I am amused at the karma hit that I took for wishing Oshkosh luck and noting that I sat by some St John's fans at the game yesterday and engaged in some fierce rhetoric. I expected to take a bigger hit for my Johnnie in-breeding joke, honestly.
