I think WC11 could still get an offer from UPS!

I don't think so...their head coach has me blocked on Twitter.   ;D

Bulldog Mitch Wallace has started running again, just seven months after this injury. He hopes for a late season return, maybe just a year from the leg break. It's amazing what medicine can accomplish now days.

Haydon didn't post the standard package of Toms pictures (the field, Glenn leading the team out, and a Toms jersey) along with his post.  Could be fatal to his career on the corner of Cretin and Summit.

He'll be getting a letter sometime in early August, "Thanks for coming, but we don't have room for you on the roster."

Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

To his credit, he at least got the name of the school correct.

So, UST twitter announcements are out running SJU by 5 to 1 and the rest of the conference by 10 to 1. That must mean UST are recruiting significantly more players.

Why would I have the sense that the U$T coaching staff actively encourages this kind of promotion?

More step-F.A.M.I.L.Y. letters to send in the summer.

Not a chance.  That'd be the last thing the coaches would encourage.  These are kids, on social media.  It's what they do.

I too find it funny with D3 players announcing their commitment to play in January.  In January you may have been accepted to a school, but you haven't turned in the FAFSA yet, the EFC hasn't been determined, and you still have no idea of how much money (if any) you'll receive - all of that comes later.  My son announced his commitment in April, after having received financial aid offers from the schools he was considering, and after I wrote the deposit check.  Although he had a good list of schools in January and the choice was down to a couple, he spent time to do overnight visits at the schools he was considering, sat in classes, and a few of the schools upped the academic money they offered.  Even if you make your $200 deposit there isn't anything holding you to going to that school.  You aren't really apart of the school until you pay that initial deposit (and others) and then show up for fall camp in August.
