Talk is cheap.  It takes money to buy whiskey.
+K Sam;They say this in Texas as we'll kinda like "All hat,no cattle"

BTW Oz, +K on the anti-dentite

While I understand where a comment like this comes from, it's worth noting that Fleck earned enough money to "buy" whiskey and turned around an 0-11 MAC team and got them to a top level bowl.  The guy is the real deal.  He's now at the next level, will be fun to watch watch happens.  Whether you like his schtick or not is up to you.  I can tell you first hand that his players at WMU....players that went 0-11 as freshman...would run through a brick wall for this guy.

Enjoy it, it'll be fun to watch.

History of coaches that come and go at the U is instructive, and it is worth noting that Jerry Kill earned plenty of money to buy whiskey at NIU.  He came to the U highly touted as a guy who turned around floundering programs at SIU and NIU.  "Kill is the real deal," they said.  I bought into the hype with Kill.  While acknowledging there were health issues that ultimately derailed his tenure at the U, I was not convinced after three years on the job that he would be the guy to take the Gophs to the promised land (read: Rose Bowl and beyond).

My point being that whiskey is cheaper in the MAC than the B1G.

Caruso and Fleck share similar views on how to develop a college football program. In this way, UST's F.A.M.I.L.Y and the U of M's F.A.M.I.L.Y are related. We're likely to see an increase in the number of U of M transfers, those seeking more playtime, head to UST over the coming years. At UST they'll get the reps and still be part of the F.A.M.I.L.Y. Discuss.

That's amazingly similar to the way that BC fills their football roster.  UST is one step closer to the dream.

And according to a recent study by Business Insider, make less money that SJU graduates. Discuss  :o

I saw that study and found it interesting. I suspect it has something to do with the difference in pay between men and women across the board, and the fact that there are none of the latter at SJU. I'd love to see the breakdown.

The quality of U of M PWO's this year is higher for sure but I am not sure that translates to more transfers. Blake Cashman from Eden Prairie  made a blue print this fall for PWO's to get a scholarship at the U. You might see a few transfer when current players don't buy in to Fleck's culture but after that it will be all RTB and Ski U Mah.

Tommie$ have someone row the boat for them.

"Now listen to me, all of you. You are all condemned men. We keep you alive to serve this ship. So row well, and live."

I found this tweet today, one of several wild times from the Battle of 'Burgs last night. It was a close match and came down to the end with Wartburg coming out on top 20 -13.  I did not see DuffMan in his SJU hoodie but I assumed he would be standing on the Wartburg side anyway.

Turn up the sound on your device.

I was in the Wartburg hoodie that HansenRatings provided me for the occasion.  ;)
