I wonder if the continuing bad economic news coming out of ESPN will have any effect on Stagg Bowl coverage in the future.

Stagg Bowl coverage is bundled up in a large package of NCAA championships -- if ESPN wants, say, D-I baseball, then it has to take all of these others.

But might they cover it with less resources? Yeah, I guess that's possible. Not sure what level of coverage that contract dictates.

So kind of like when a young BDB was running the mean streets of Austin as a youth and his buddy wanted to escort the head cheerleader to the winter dance, young BDB would have to escort her less attractive friend. It's a package deal  ;)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Big game tomorrow against St Kilda in Tasmania as the new players try to back up their good play that lead to the drought breaking victory over West Coast.  Even more exciting...

Spectacular off-season pickup Jaeger O'Meara is an insane athlete.  He was two years out of the game after shredding his posterior cruciate ligament.  But he came back with us and hardly missed a beat.  A little rusty but right in the thick of the action.  He missed the last two weeks with bone bruising and now he's back.  I'm hoping for a roaring victory.

Congrats to one of our own! Jeff Bretherton new AD at Concordia.

Between Jeff and Jim Cella, it's a full SJU takeover in Moorhead. (don't worry, Cobbers, Jim is 100 percent a Cobber at this point, as I'm sure Jeff will be as well).

With D3boarders getting gigs like this, won't be long before Touchdown Tommy fulfills his dream of being named president of St. Thomas.

Sheesh, racial "riots"or nearly so at St Olaf.  If their football team showed half as much fight...

Jeff "Red Tooth" Bretherton will be the first full-time AD for the Cobbers. Rich Glas, now former basketball coach for the Cobbs, was the AD before. Although he stepped down last year and an Interim AD took his place until now.

Protesting by boycotting going to class. That's right, spend $50,000+ a year and don't go to class. That'll show 'em!

I skipped class for less honorable actions. Good job by them for exercising their rights.

Jeez, this off season is slow.  Worse than normal.

Which his fundraising background, I can see the Cobber athletic facility wish list will being checked off one by one. Great hire for the Cobbs

I have heard his first order of business is to fix the weight room, which like many MIAC schools outside of the heavy hitters, is lacking space. Hopefully you are right and the Cobbs can flourish under him!
