-57's Avalache don't make the field

-retagents Capitals fall in second round

Leaving:

-Bennie's Ducks vs Predators

Surprised that the UST - SJU playoff baseball game tonight hasn't been mentioned?

I'll admit that it was news to me that Bethel was the Co-Champ with UST this season, as I just saw it on twitter a couple of days ago.

I'm still in mourning. I just can't understand the Pens mastery over the Caps. After watching the Capitals dominate in Games 5 and 6, I'm trying to grasp what happened to that team in Game 7. The Hockey gods are a cruel bunch. Go Preds. ( I've seen many of the Preds play in Milwaukee on their AHL affiliate)

The Hawks try to make it two games in a row when they take on Brisbane this afternoon and move to just two games out of the playoff picture. It's a long way back to post season glory but they can only take it one game at a time.

We are thinking of driving from here in western CO to Green Bay to see my sister. Is it safe to drive through MN now that Lucas Davenport no longer has you folks under control?  :)

Lucas Davenport is a fictional police detective in a series of John Sandford novels and movies based on the novels.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Sorry, my reply wasn't as clear as it should have been ... I have read a number of the Prey novels, but the way I read 57's post it sounded as though Sandford had decided not to write about Davenport anymore (or maybe killed him off). Hopefully he's still around.

He is now a deputy US Marshal instead of a Gopher cop.
Now Virgil Flowers and Guy Noir have to keep you safe  ;D

That will give me something to look forward to as I work my way through the books. I'm just glad to know that he's still out there, although it might mean more work and less fishing for "that &/)#{¥*< Flowers".   :)
