This is from a story on the St Thomas football site: "St. Thomas' preseason roster is expected to include approximately 90 returners, 45 incoming freshmen, and four impact transfers." We know the Iowa state QB but does anyone know who the other three impact transfers are?

Changing gears, how in the world can Lindy's preseason poll and Streets and Smiths' poll differ so much outside the top 3?  Lindy's doesn't have UWW or UWO in the top 10.  In addition, Lindy's ranks 4 teams from out East that aren't on Streets and Smith's listing.  Only six common teams between the two polls.

Not much to talk about these days, but certainly the differences in those rankings give us something to debate.

Not that they mean anything but where are these listings posted?

They're at the bottom of the article on the UST football site.

I won't drink anything people think you should add fruit or candy to, except for a slice of lime in a gin & tonic. No zima. No corona. And no poofters.
Homemade infusion   http://www.wikihow.com/Infuse-Vodka-with-Flavor

We're big on the homemade limoncello. Lemon zest infused for 8 weeks with vodka and everclear. Served cold shots out of the freezer ... darn near perfect and a whole lot better than mango/grapefruit/watermelon beer.

I'm very intrigued after reading a recipe for that...but man, the lead time is huge!  If I did it today, summer would be gone by the time it was ready!  Not sure if my attention span / patience could handle that...

As far as watermelon beer goes, I had a six pack of 21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon last summer, and really enjoyed it.

Helps to have a patient spouse, but "we" made it for Christmas gifts. I drank Grolsch for a while to get enough of those stopper bottles. Wife says it's 6-8 weeks  if you use vodka only and four weeks if Everclear is involved. Everclear's octane varies by state ... it's 190 proof around here. Here's one of the recipes that's close to how we did it.

On a completely different note, the repetes are about a month away from closing on five acres along a river in Grain Belt/Surly/Fulton/formerly Hamm's country. Google has it 74.6 miles to Clemens.

Congrats!  What will you name the spread?

Excellent!  When should we expect invitations?

Duff: Anybody in red is welcome anytime! Ex-SJU roomie is already booked.

Oz: Something piscatorial likely on tap ... TBD. Will likely need some help from Mr. Haney.

I'm watching the football and walked into the family room at the halftime break to see Mrs Oz and #'s 2 & 3 watching A Dog's Purpose.  The trailer chokes me up. I haven't worked up the gumption to watch the movie yet.

Speaking of the footy, man-buns have become very popular lately. Someone recently said to me that man-buns are the millenials' mullet. Perfect.

There must be a time delay in Oz, because their popularity is waning here. Thank you Jesus!

I'm back to the summer haircuts my dad used to bring me to the barber shop kicking & screaming as a youth- high & tight. It's summer!
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Heading out the door to go fishing but saw this on twitter. I recall when Blake Weber transferred to the U from RCTC; he was welcomed by Gopher fans at the time.
