SCTimes and GoJohnnies.com both sharing over 180 players reported to camp for SJU. Interesting decision by the coaching staff to have all members of the team report at one time, ahead of the start of the school year.

I'm not a great recruiting mind. Curious if anyone noticed any notable newcomers on the roster.

According to Tom Elliot of the SC Times, a Tampa Bay Buc scout is watching Evan Clark at practice on Monday. Also, Ben Eli is now on the coaching staff.

With just a scrolling through of the Freshman, there is some nice size on the O-line. Can they play or are they just big? Time will tell......

Final AFL club membership was published today. Membership gets you some club kit (stickers, scarfs, etc) and admission to games (packages from general admission, to reserved seats, to dining options depending). 907k ALF club members in Australia. A crazy popular sport. For the US and NFL, that would translate to 12.1 million season ticket holders. Admittedly, I don't think the US does general admission membership, but it's still a big number.

An earlier commitment got re-skedded and I am now free for the SJU-CST tilt at Target (Delta gods willing). It appears that the best bet for tickets left are in the upper nosebleeds, the 300s. Have no problem with them being exposed, but will they have a bad sun angle? Never been to field.

A friend suggested just trying to buy tickets on game day outside the field, but this event is unique enough I wonder if that will be much of an option.

I just pre-ordered my copy of Kickoff at d3football.com. I encourage anyone who frequents this site, lurking or posting, to consider doing the same. It's the only way that the d3football guys raise money for this site (other than measly google ads revenue. Do not neglect to turn off your ad blockers for this domain) and we all enjoy my Aussie Rules posts, no? Gotta keep the lights on.

Agreed Oz, I reserved my copy a couple weeks ago. PC said he would autograph it for me to boot.

Ok guys...I have to make the ultimate sacrifice.....I have 6 Champions club tickets the the SJU/UST game that I need to sell.

For some reason my daughter thinks I need to be at her wedding that day. Piss poor planning on her part....lol If interested let me know I will give you details. There are $110.00 each...but anyone who has been to a game with these tickets knows they are worth it.
