I'm guessing they would if you emailed them. Not that hard to post a podcast.

I tweetered them but should follow up with an email. If I'm the only one listening to it, I guess I wouldn't expect them to post it. I doubt there is any contract stipulations that would prevent it.

I'd love to listen as well, let me know what they say.

I sent an email and I will let you know if I hear anything.

BlueDevil Bob and USTBench before the UW-Stout vs. St. Thomas game today.

Such a simpler time. The season was young and so full of promise. I was so naive. Just a kid.
I thought you would be taller and wear a purple UST Ralph Lauren polo and not a grey t-shirt. You must be OK!

I just thought he'd be better looking, more like myself and the other UST folks.

Where is the 30pack of Hamm's on your shoulder? Was BDB sold out at all  his liquor emporiums across  western Wisconsin? 8-)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Hay is in the barn. The liver will  be wearing a helmet, no pads, and only participating in walk-throughs until September 23.

Though I am supposed to be going to Savannah, Georgia with my wife on Friday, and if it's underwater and there's nothing to do, that plan will go out the window real quick. Who am I kidding? Rain our shine I'll be drinking bourbon and talking like Foghorn Leghorn.

Did a trip to Savannah as part of a Charleston / Hilton Head / Savannah vacation about 5 years ago.  Very cool town.  I was conned (by my wife) into paying for a walking tour of Savannah, which I wasn't interested in, but ended up really liking.  Bring a flask.

Historic Charleston is worth the drive too, if you have time.  Fort Sumter, along with lots of food was the highlight of that part of the trip.

edit: Come on BU.  When you guys lose handily, I'm reduced to travel recommendations and thoughts.

Good win for the Cobbers. Sounds like UW-W has had trouble at the goal line their first two weeks. I won't be surprised if they find a way to run the table in the WIAC. What will be interesting is what happens if they drop 1 WIAC game and finish 7-3.

I don't think there would be any intrigue regarding UWW on Selection Sunday in this scenario.  With just five Pool C bids available, I can't envision a scenario where a team with three in-division losses can be invited to play in the tournament.  The Warhawks are in single elimination mode starting right now.

You're probably right. I was thinking UW-P had 3 regular season losses last year but it was only 2. There could be a scenario where their 3 losses could be to conference champion/playoff teams - though I don't see CON winning the MIAC.

Out of country for 2 weeks and come back to find some big surprises.  How did Stout pull out a W over UST?  It's a tough one for me as I don't like Stout (EC grad), but it is the WIAC.  And is Concordia finally going to break through to the playoffs?  I've thought they had solid teams for a few years, but maybe this is the one.  Definitely setting up for an interesting year as conference play closes in.

Funny. I am an EC grad also, and I don't like EC.  Stout won the game on Sat. because they played a team that was not used to losing, did not lose with class, and Stout cashed in.
Stout will win some games in the WIAC.  Was a pleasure watching the game with BDB and USTbench.  USTbench and I have some mutual friends and he watched what most have been a painful outcome with class.
Can't say the same about his team.

Not football-related, but it's pretty cool that there is a Johnnie headed to the International Space Station today.

So...how does a team lose with class? Was there something specific they did/didn't do? Like not shake hands, or what?

I wouldn't say "team." 91 rushed the victory formation and bulled over the center and QB. There was about 38 seconds left and UST had one timeout. Kind of conflicted on that move. Wasn't exactly like Mount Union in the 2012 Stagg Bowl where they were down multiple scores (miracles can happen, I guess), buuuuuut, the odds the snap would be fumbled, you'd recover and they'd have time to take ashot was about nil. But TECHNICALLY, it's still a football play and Stout should have treated it as such, but I can see their point.

Stout's sideline went nuts (as I would have, had it happened to my team), 91 was penalized (but I'm not sure why, nothing about it was really illegal) but the teams shook hands.

Kind of an ethical grey area in my book, but I think it's somewhat on Stout as well. In my opinion, if you're not up two scores you play it out.
