It's getting near universal hate from everything I'm seeing, but people will complain no matter where they go.
And ESPN doesn't care what it's viewers want. They do what the focus group in NYC thinks is best, and damn the little people in flyover country.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Pat needs to up his budget and just host his own Gameday. I'll be the celeb picker, pic was in the Crow River News recently.

SIAP, but found out today that the field will not be sodded over for Tommie Johnnie next weekend.  Kind of a bummer, considering they'll have almost a week to prep for a game, and nearly a week after the game before the Twins return.

It'll be like the Met, back in the day, ha.

GameDay going to NYC next week.  Damn, that's a bummer, thought there was an outside shot they'd be at Target.
I'd blame Stout but this decision was likely made months ago.  It's getting near universal hate from everything I'm seeing, but people will complain no matter where they go.

GameDay not coming to (insert your favorite college campus here) is one thing.  GameDay not going to any campus at all on a September Saturday is pretty weak.  GameDay is cool because it's on campus.  Would have been a perfect time to pay off years of travel for Ol' Crimson and get out to Washington State.  Or spotlight something other than FBS (like Tommie-Johnnie).

Agree, going to NYC over WSU is just not right. Saturday's schedule might not be great, but gotta consider the Cougs support over all these years.

OTOH, if they go to Pullman, they remove the drama of it. Kind of like the NFL actually putting a team in LA.

Don't worry, 105, some of us New York City elites haven't forgotten about you little people!

Just realized I haven't gotten Johnnie Underground newsletter past few weeks. Have others?

Yeah, I've received it like clockwork.  Top quality like usual.  I wonder why you've been dropped off the mailing list.

(Actually, no, not received.  ;)  I was getting worried for myself.)

Bench are you living in God's country now? We can meet up at Dave's Town Club or Norm's Wayside for a Hamm's or sixteen sometime, that is if you've lifted the restraining order. I haven't been notified by the authorities,so I'm assuming it's still in effect.
