I had heard that the Twins were not going to allow either team a practice or walk through at the field prior to Saturday, however I noticed on the Twitter that U$T had one today. I understand that even though this is a "neutral" site this a home game for the Tom$, and that they along w/ the Twins are the parties responsible for the game being played at Bullseye Field. Considering the venue and the number of the variables involved with this game it would make sense that the guest would be afforded an opportunity to the field prior to Saturday. The only thing that makes any sense would be if the Johnnies came down Friday and stayed overnight. Anybody have any insights?

Do teams generally get a walkthrough on the opponent's field in MIAC games? Not being snarky -- truly asking.
Usually, you have been there before.

I don't recall ever having a walkthrough for the old Dome Days games nor when we played at the Fargo Dome against Concordia and PLU in 2001.  Maybe we were tougher back then.  ;D

So what's the security screening procedure like at Target Field. I assume they check bags. Do they use metal detectors and/or pat-down people?
Yes they use metal detectors when you walk in.

A first time for everything.  This one surprised me.  I didn't think I would live to see it.

Mr.MIAC

So it looks like I'm going to swing by Fulton before heading over to the Tommie pre-party at Kieran's. Any of you Johnnie smokefest royalty going to be there? I might be the lone Tommie...an island of class, so to speak...

At Fulton, be sure to announce your arrival by wearing your purple blazer with the UST crest embroidered on the left chest pocket  ;)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Dave St. Peter just tweeted that ticket sales are at 35,000 and rising.

Side note: anyone that uses #TOJO to refer to the game/rivalry deserves a tomahawk chop to the throat. You sound like idiots.
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.
