If the game is going to travel then take it to Melbourne and play under lights at the MCG in front of 98k who both cheer and are well fed.

Although with the size of the pitch everyone will need to bring binoculars (the red and blue goal arcs are 50 meters and the white center square is 50 meters on each side).

(I just looked it up and the G's playing surface is 187 yards long and 160 yards wide.  Bigger than i thought.)

I'm glad that Dr. Rev finds himself funny because no one else does.  ???

You're so negative. I'd normally say something about the tilt with the classy Johnnies being "funny," but I'm actually a little worried about this game.

Well, if this game is tight and the atmosphere great then I reckon the game will become permanently alternate venue.  There will pressure to move the game from Clemens, I'm sure.  I hope that never happens.

So if the Tommies were to ever go DI, could they still play exhibition games or something against the Johnnies?

The Tommies played exhibition games against the Johnnies for 40 years until Caruso arrived and made you competitive, so I don't see why not.

Sounds like I was right. You guys are in relative decline.

We have the space in Collegeville to keep up. It's just a matter of bringing in enough temporary bleachers, portapots, additional concession stands, and working on traffic flow, shuttles and parking.

SJU has always done well with the game and I trust the athletic department will continue to make the necessary adjustments as the rivalry grows and evolves.
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.
