Saw that. Desmond Howard and Kirk Herbstriet picked the Johnnies, Lee Corso opted out, celebrity picker Keegan Michael Key picked the Tommies because a former fellow band member ran cross country at St Thomas.

I bet they did a real in depth study of stats and game fim - or maybe they just looked at the rankings and went with the higher ranked team. Surprised they didn't mention the Target field angle.

You will have withdrawal symptoms before the Blue Devils play again. :)

Your dog took you for a walk.  ;D

Our Great Dane has been gone for a few years now, but he was actually much better on a leash than the new pup, who's still a big dog--80 lbs at one year old.  We've got a Spinone Italiano now.
WOW! I am familiar with them although they are rare, or use to be. Like the Brittany,  they point and water retrieve ..........  In case you fall out of the boat ???

Impressed that you've heard of the breed.  Still quite rare.  I'm excited for his first hunting season!

A tradition unrivaled...

They are a nice looking breed, but I just cringe thinking about them wiping their beard on everything after a drink of water. :P

All time winningest program at Target Field.  Nice feather in the cap.

Can't believe the Johnnies just gave up like that in the last minute.  Should have smoked the victory formation....oh wait the game was over at that point.

Congrats to the Tommies. More than double the yardage, Johnnies were damn lucky to be that close. As Reusse noted, first time since 1954-57 Tommies have won 4 in a row over SJU. Of course after that it was 55 years before Tommies won even three in a row, so maybe that'll happen again.

I told Rube and Bob Zimmerman during week I had bad feeling about game. 2013, 2014 exceptions, Tommies have just been the team that makes more plays and also controls line of scrimmage (based on what I saw, which was only 2nd half).

Still love Johnnies chances of going deep in the playoffs, but obviously now have to run the table to get there.

*cringe* Congrats, Tommies. *cringe*
Pretty sorry performance by the Johnnies.  I knew the Tommie defense would give SJU fits on offense.  I'm going to bite my tongue now.

We have a lot of beard towels scattered about the house.  Honestly, the slobbery jowels on our Dane were worse.

Johnny Magic came up a bit short today, although it did make an appearance late in the 4th.  Mabye the loss should be blamed on not getting a walk-thru.  ;)

With the Johnnies not playing any quality opponent until today (and no, St. Olaf wasn't a test either as Bethel beat them 64-7 today) it makes it really difficult to judge just how good a team really is. While the score today was close, the Tommies were clearly the better team today.
