Um...the 1949 Cigar Bowl where we played Missouri Valley to a 13 to 13 tie. Undefeated that year! That's a January 1 bowl game! Gophers don't even do that.

It's not all that matters. Just that more weight is given to more recent results in everything except history class. I'm sure St John's football features heavily in the St Thomas history classes.

That is correct. Gophers played Missouri, they had a legit Eastern Division SEC team at the time and we had Max Williams at TE who was also legit. Gopher fans traveled well and Jerry Kill was still healthy.

That was about five or six years ago.  But these ones, sans the koala with burns on it's feet, are worse.
