Has anyone heard from tmerton lately?  Is he threatened by the Napa fires?
Saw on FB yesterday posted by Roger Dierkhising, that Calistoga was evacuated. That's home to 5 or so Dirks, now anchors in area wine and hospitality trades. Family noted locally for founding  LaPlayette and Kay's Kitchen.

There's obviously a big game on the horizon to end the year for SJU but this next month of the MIAC schedule is going to be a snooze. As others have pointed out UST has essentially locked up the MIAC crown. Now we wait a month for the next game of consequence.

I dont know if this was posted here, but it is interesting:

The MIAC schedule has some serious shifting from what we have seen the last 6-8 years. Tommie-Johnnie moves into October in the upcoming two seasons, and into November in the next two seasons. SJU has Bethel, UST, Concordia 3 out of 4 weeks in 2018/2019

Always a copy editor - they spelled mirror correctly at the bottom of the first page and then spelled it "mirrow" on the remaining pages.

Open dates on the last day of the season are BS...there's got to be a way to fix that.

Can't decide if it's worse there, or the first week of MIAC that BU has.

Assuming SJU is in the playoffs, it might not be the worst to get some extra healing in before they would ideally be trying to play several more games?

Pretty bold to put out the schedule to 2027. Notice it was approved in 2015.
What happens if there is another football school in the conference prior to 2027? St. Mary's could put together a program, I mean it couldn't be any worse than Mac or CSS. ::)

Also, will all the 8 year olds playing soccer or just getting obese while playing video games, there may not be football in 2027. :o
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Hope things are OK. The La was a tremendous restaurant back in the '70s.

WTF?!?  Oreos?  Bacon and Oreos have ruined food.

https://vinepair.com/booze-news/oreo-beer-texas/

Instead of fried Oreos being the hit, it's the Barrera food stand's Oreo beer, which is an American milk stout garnished with an Oreo cookie. The cup is then rimmed with Oreo filling and crushed up Oreo bits.

There was an uncalled rules violation that was the reason the Cubs won. Two runners scored after the batter hit the catcher's mask, and the ball went to the backstop. The rule states that in this instance, it is a strike, and the ball is dead. Runners may not advance. An asterisk should appear in the record book.
