Where are all the Eureka fans at??

By my estimate it's been about 90 years since Reagan strapped the pads on for them.

Reagan was class of '32.  We're here (I am anyway) and proud of our program and season, making our first postseason trip in 23 yrs. and first in NCAA.  Coach Kurt Barth has been building a quality program and our seniors got it done this year.

We know we're playing a juggernaut (650 enrollment vs. 6,100), but gotta start somewhere, right?  This team runs the ball behind a quality O-line and crafty, sneaky fast Le'Anthony Reasnover (2nd total yards in D-III with 1,834).  Defense is senior-led and 14th in total defense in D-III (yes, I see you're first, thanks).  LB Chris Friend (local product and St. Xavier transfer) anchors the defense and we've gotten great play from senior ends Trevor Zeibert and Ray Vogel (both 6' 5") as well as interior size from Macae Skaggs (6' 5", 260).

Go Red Devils!

If anyone is looking to kill some time, head on over to the OAC board where they're lighting up St. Glenn while Jamto tries to put out fires.  ;D

We should have plenty of bandwidth for all who can't make the journey to enjoy the game.  Tune in at NCTV17.com !  Pat usually has a link on the home page, too.

Thanks!  Now, do you have any suggestions to occupy my kids for a few hours on Saturday while I watch?  :D

@ecreddevils, where is Eureka playing in 2018 if not in the UMAC?

Good luck against THE EVIL EMPIRETM!

I knew I shouldn't have bothered. I don't care if folks want to hate him. That's their prerogative. I'd just like them to have the facts.

Particularly egregious to me was the comment that we "didn't run [the score] up all year until the last game when he thought a 100-0 win would give them a #1 seed." HAMLINE 84-0 IS RIGHT THERE FOLKS. And I think Glen is on the west regional committee, so he knows how these things work. He might be an a-hole but he isn't dumb.

Welcome to the MIAC Board. Thanks for the info! I perused the Kickoff report last night and compared it to some recent game stat sheets. Reasnover has had some ridiculous games, with 50+ carries. I'm anxious to watch him play. We've faced some good RBs (Laverne a few years ago) in round 1 and it looks like y'all aren't very pass-happy. Our run defense has been about as good as it gets lately, so I doubt Reasnover will see 50 carries this week.

Yes, my 6-yr old son would love those, but I don't think his 4-yr old sister would fare well.  And I'd have to explain the ER visit to my wife. ;)

We're going into the NACC next year--used to compete in the old Illini-Badger against many of those same schools.

Hey, we finally agree on something!!! ;D

He might be an-hole but he's OUR a-hole, as they say. Stopped clock is right once a day Duff, and this is your moment.

Happy I could provide you some entertainment.

I dropped the kids (age 7,5,3) off at my mother in law's house last Saturday afternoon. I recommend doing the same. Getting to watch uninterrupted football was pretty glorious and then I actually got some housework done, so you should do that.

Do you think your mother-in-law would babysit DuffMan's kids? - ba-da-dump.  ;D

Maybe? My sister-in-law is watching my kids at my house Saturday so I can drag the wife along to the St Thomas game. So I suppose he could drop them off. On their other hand, I don't want my kids catching the Johnnie Fever.

So does Eureka College have any connection to the Eureka Company, which produces vacuum cleaners and other household cleaning products? In other words, does Eureka College both figuratively and literally suck?
