So far the deer are winning.

Gotcha.  It can get frustrating, but even after a slow day in the field, I always look back and think that it still beats sitting on the couch.

So what sort of platforms/rounds are you all using for deer nowadays?

DuffMan

Rev, I'm not a deer hunter.  I hunt mainly pheasant.

A tradition unrivaled...

It seems like it has it been almost a year since the Tommies played a worthy opponent.  Oh wait, it has been a year and in that game to had 8 TO.  So for today, let's get the running game going, put pressure on the QB and hold on to the freaking ball.

Game time in 30 minutes - should be a great game.  For all intents and purposes, this is the championship game of the right side of the bracket.

Tom Thumb

Tucker Trettel is suited up. We will see how he holds up today.

USTBench

Not the preferred outcome, but an incredibly physical game between two relatively evenly matched teams. UMHB's special teams were outstanding. Tip of the cap. I think they'll repeat.

Saving grace for today. The Toms have a legit high end receiver in Gabe Green for two more seasons. I've said for a few years that has been a big hole. They've had jitterbugs in the slot, but not a big speedy target that can up and get the ball. He emerged in the playoffs.

The majority of the Tommie defense is back, along with all the offensive weapons. This should be a very fun team next season.

The Cruare for real. Curious if we are seeing the rise of another D3 dynasty. The recipe is there. Time will tell.

Gabe has been really fun to watch, as he has grown into the role. Going to miss Christenson big time. And having Trettel today would have been a big help. Unfortunate for him and the team.

The national championship eludes St Thomas once again. Maybe next year!

The offensive line was big, but not very athletic unlike what we have been use to seeing.

1162 days since the johns have beaten UST

4025 days since since the johns have sniffed the NCAA quarters

ST. Thomas, it was a pleasure to watch your team today. Class and excellence exudes from each position. Heck of a team with a bright future. Congrats.

Met a few of your fans after the game, and they were classy and congratulatory. Very impressed with the program and people. Congrats.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

I sense the beginnings of a beautful UST + UMHB/Berry bromance, that could rival the lovefest between St Johns and anybody that will still give them respect

UST D gave UMHB offensive line and The CRU's freshman QB fits. The Wrecking CRU D came up big. What can you say about Bryce Wilkerson! Wow! I have to be honest, I was shocked UST kept kicking to him. You give #1 that many opportunities at returns and he usually pops one.

I really thought UMHB was on the ropes until the punt return for a TD.

Heck of a game by the Tommies. UST is very physical and well coached.

This game should have taken place next week - if not the week after.

I'm quite sure UMHB and St. Thomas will meet again. Maybe next time it will be in Shenandoah, Texas.

It did seem like we were trying to kick it away from him, or pin him on the sideline. I thought we had him on a few of the big returns, but alas.
