Well, it appears that Hamline will have to solve their own issues. On to the next topic: Does anyone think Brockport is going to win tomorrow?

No. Will they keep it under a 30 point loss? Maybe. I think a 30-pt loss is more likely than them winning.

Nope. FWIW, I did pick them to win their bracket in the bracket challenge. There are a number of counts against them - some more tangible than others. They are going where it is warm. If they had played the Tommies instead, they would not have been as intimidated by the cold in MN as they will be by the heat in TX. More than anything, I think the speed of the Crusaders is going to give them fits and I wonder if they will ever get into rhythm on their offense. If they can keep it to a three score game, they'll have played their hearts out. If the ball bounces in their favor on turnovers, it might be closer, but if the bounce is in the favor of UMHB, it could easily be a monkey-stomp or worse.

Yes and if that does happen (30pt+ Loss) Hopefully the selection committee won't give us any all east region brackets for a while.

??? Everyone starts practice in August. I don't think anyone is going to be intimidated by a 63 degree day. They will lose because UMHB has vastly superior athletes.

If UST showed up to play against UW-Stout that wouldn't have happened. Can't blame the committee on that one.

Perhaps "intimidated by" is too strong a phrase, - how about "encumbered by"?

Still meh. It snowed as far south as Houston last night. I think weather will play no factor in this butt whooping.

I can agree with that. It certainly gives them an out for their bracketing selections. It seems at the D1 level they just pick the four best teams regardless of a loss or maybe even 2 in some cases. Certainly a loss in week 2 hasn't kept any of the top teams out of the 4-team playoff for a long long time. How often has Alabama done this and then gone on to win it all.

The tournament was probably better off this year with an East Region bracket.  Del Val and Brockport got to play a competitive game  against each other rather than get blown out.  Anyone who understands a bit of how D3 playoffs work should understand the brackets are not fully seeded and advancing further doesn't mean you were a better team.

I think Brockport will throw the kitchen sink at the UHMB offsense, trying to get some stops and momentum.  It'll probably be disruptive for a few series, but they I expect UHMB to adjust.  Not particularly awed by UHMB offsense, so I don't think we'll see them score more than 34 points.  I'm thinking something like 31-6.

Unless someone was wearing a Caruso Halloween costume and dozens of other guys borrowed all the Tommie football uniforms, they did show up for that game.

I fully understand how D3 playoffs work (500 mile rule, the whole bit). Which why I know they have been able to insert a top team over there in the recent past. Always good food for discussion though. Hey, I hope Brockport proves everyone wrong and gives themselves a chance into the fourth quarter, anything can happen then.
