If UST showed up to play against UW-Stout that wouldn't have happened. Can't blame the committee on that one.

Unless someone was wearing a Caruso Halloween costume and dozens of other guys borrowed all the Tommie football uniforms, they did show up for that game.

TECHNICALLY.

Does anyone know if Johnny Heller will return next fall? I believe he went down in the Johnnie game last year and may be eligible for a medical redshirt.

Well, it appears that Hamline will have to solve their own issues. On to the next topic: Does anyone think Brockport is going to win tomorrow?

No. Will they keep it under a 30 point loss? Maybe. I think a 30-pt loss is more likely than them winning.

I think Brockport will throw the kitchen sink at the UHMB offsense, trying to get some stops and momentum.  It'll probably be disruptive for a few series, but they I expect UHMB to adjust.  Not particularly awed by UHMB offsense, so I don't think we'll see them score more than 34 points.  I'm thinking something like 31-6.

I think you have to look at that game in the appropriate context. UST has the best defense in the country. They'll put up at least 98 on Brockport. 97 would be classless.

Not sure if he will be back, but hope so because he had a great season.  So when can we expect your commitment announcement's to start?  Any insights at this point with the HS football season now complete?

Good question.  I'd always thought he was done but he only played 4 games of '16 if I recall.

I believe I heard somewhere that he has a decision to make and it's not known yet whether he will return.

If he proves to have eligibility left, I would lean heavily on him returning, especially given the group UST has returning next year. I am pretty sure his father would be all in on that decision.

This is as TECHNICAL as I need to get.

Any further references to "Didn't show up" or "Stubbed their toe" is an insult to both teams and their coaches that were on the field that day.

It should be insulting to UST. That was the whole point.

All that matters is who was better at the end of 60 minutes, on that day it was Stout. Tip of the cap. But let's not kid ourselves.

I'm not sure if they're scheduled to play in 2018, but if they do, I'll give you UW-Stout +20. If I lose I'll where a Blue Devils shirt to Tommie/Johnnie.

BDB, is the point of that photo the score of the game or the two advertisements for Bob & Steve's?   ;)

p.s. I still have my Bob & Steve's coffee mug.  When I moved and dramatically downsized that was one of the few I kept.

If UST wins by more than 20 I want one free bratwurst a day from any Bob and Steve's location for one year. And I'll need a special card too.

Depends on who gets the ball first. Even Northwestern hung with St. John's for a quarter, I remember reading somewhere.
