SJU: 2 offensive touchdowns vs. St. Thomas and Mount Union combined.
UMHB: 1 offensive touchdown vs. St. Thomas and Mount Union combined.

Imagine the angst on the board if SJU had pulled a UMHB.

FWIW, on twitter I replied to one of Keith's posts and said I thought Mount and UST were far and away the 2 best teams the Cru faced this season.  That isn't a knock on Brockport.  I just happen to believe the Tommies were the better team and the final rankings reflect that.

I saw that. Too bad I can't follow the whole threads since Frank blocked me  :o :o  :-X :-X :'( :'(

Interesting how two programs that both lost 24-0 to UMHB react totally different. The program with the rich tradition, that has been there before, says very little and anxiously awaits next season to prove themselves on the field. While the other seems to be happy with their 24-0 loss to the point of where they have talked themselves into believing with some "woulda, coulda, shouldas they should be National Champions. Reality check?  ::)

To be clear, I'm not sure it's actually Brockport folks that are upset about this. Frank is a general east supporter, but seems to subscribe to a conspiracy theory whereby Pat and Keith lead a cabal of voters intent on keeping the east region teams down.

The East was treated beyond fair with their own bracket (that was the only conspiracy, IMO)

Especially since this cabal has six East Region voters. :)

Frank just "does Frank".   8-)

If you have been around here long enough, his views, eastern skewed bias, and general champion of all that is East has been clear for quite a while.  It's all good, because once you wipe away the eastern goo you find that Frank puts a lot of effort into supporting and championing D-III.

You da man Frank!

The Tommies didn't have the playmakers like they've had in the past.... JMO! When we played u guys you had running backs qbs and receivers that were WAY above average.  :'(

You're right Blue, not like that year. Hopefully for UST's sake it's just a matter of a little more strength and maturity, because they are all back next year.

Agreed.  Come on down, Gabe Green.  Parks and Trettle are both back next year too.  Parks has the speed and moves to break the long one, but was a bit nicked up this year.

Where are the Johnnies when you need them?

Still here, there's just not much to say.  There's been very little chatter out of St. Glenn's apostles this week.  Have you all resigned to the Monkey StompTM that awaits in Texas?

My vote for best line of the 2017 season. This still cracks me up!  ;D  Duff you'd get +k if I knew how that worked.

Surprised this has not been posted here yet. You guys are slipping.  ;D

So, St. Cloud State is now part of the MIAC? I think the piece is mislabeled.

Macalester too.  If it makes you feel better there were zero UMAC highlights, unless you count the Tommie hurdling the Eureka defender.

I thought I saw Northwestern in there a couple of times? Nothing from St John's beating Scholastica either?
