The LB Perkins looks like he could be a "Jesse Addo" type player. We all know how good Addo was. Also, whoever is recruiting the Menomonie area for UST is doing a bang-up job!

Nothing on the Johnnie website about OC changes. So this is rumour, right?  Well if it turns out to be accurate then I guess we will be seeing the return of AirJohnnie with a couple WRs calling the shots.  I could stand watching some of that.

I think Coach Yuen recruits western Wisconsin and the Green Bay area. He has been doing a good job so far.

Maybe St. Thomas needs to come over to Menomonie more often and lose a game. Seems to be good for recruiting. 

Seriously though, I had 2 of the 3 players heading to UST in youth baseball and they were good kids then. MHS has a powerhouse high school football program for the last 25 years or so and has placed numerous young men in the college ranks including the current starting QB for Iowa.

Both these kids look pretty good. The CB/WR from Brookfield is really athletic for a 6-2 kid. He could play either side of the ball. The Waconia kid is athletic as well but might be a bit undersized, kind of a "tweener". Hopefully he has a big heart and a strong work ethic.

In 2002, Heckendorf set a pair of Wisconsin records with 116 receptions for 1,714 yards as a junior at Mosinee High School and ended his career as the state's all-time leader in receiving yards (3,831) and touchdowns (36). He is also second in career receptions (235). Heckendorf accepted a scholarship to FCS (formerly Division I-AA) North Dakota State and ended a four-year collegiate career (2005-08) as the all-time leader in catches (178) and receiving yards (2,732) for the Bison. He signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2009 and later joined four other National Football League organizations: the Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, San Diego Chargers and Indianapolis Colts. I don't see it as a swap.  If I had to venture a guess, I would guess that there was some administrative pressure at CSS to drop the game.  I don't see Kurt backing down.

Pretty sure that SJU will try to fill out a 10-game schedule.

According to the ATN podcast and the latest schedules, it's actually Scholastica playing Thomas More, not St John's. Kind of a bummer, but it still leaves a couple openings for St John's to schedule the Little Sisters of the Poor
