Did SJU really swap off Scholastica for Thomas More? Just because of a little pressure for putting up a big number? or did Kurt decide it wasn't in their best interest?

I don't see it as a swap.  If I had to venture a guess, I would guess that there was some administrative pressure at CSS to drop the game.  I don't see Kurt backing down.

Pretty sure that SJU will try to fill out a 10-game schedule.

My attention was drawn to this comment, duffman.  So... interesting events now in light of Ramler's sudden departure?

According to the ATN podcast and the latest schedules, it's actually Scholastica playing Thomas More, not St John's. Kind of a bummer, but it still leaves a couple openings for St John's to schedule the Little Sisters of the Poor

SJU will play UW-Stout at home Week 1, bye Week 2, and play Thomas More at home Week 11 in 2018.
SJU will play at UW-Stout week 1, Week 2 and Week 11 currently open in 2019.
Ramler wore out his welcome at Scholastica, just like he did everywhere else. The administration would not let him play SJU in 2018, he was not thrilled about that. One of the many reasons they parted ways.

Any idea when the website will be updated with new non-conference opponents and well as any potential staff changes.....?

Thanks, been a long time reader on here, just thought it was time to get some correct info out there.
I have no idea on when the website will be updated, on either the schedule or staff changes. I hear Coach Fasching will act as Offensive Coordinator through spring ball, and maybe some "official" decisions will be made after that on who will fill that role for 2018. My bet is on Kole, but it could be either him, Bungum, or Gary. Remember, Kole is only a part time employee right now, so they have that issue to work around as well. This isn't like D1 where they can just hire and fire people all the time. Even if Jimmy is not coaching football, and is in another role with the athletic dept, SJU still has his salary to pay and just won't pony up another full time assistant salary without a fight from the football staff.

Here's a little more information on Seth Bickett. Looks like UST picked up a good one: https://twitter.com/RGYFO/status/959057031079579648

Pewaukee's Seth Bickett won't get college attention he deserves because of his size, but he was a whale of a four-year football player

Iron man Seth Bickett hasn't missed a game as he becomes Pewaukee's first four-year starter in a generation

The kid from Montini, IL, Rian O'Connor, reminds me a lot of Fritz Waldvogel. I like English as well, comparable to Tucker Trettel.

Best of luck to the Auggies.  The only thing worse than Augsburg is any wrestling team from Iowa!

Good thing you now have your Aussie citizenship.  I think you went WAY over the line on this one. :o

And, yes, I do have a sense of humor, and see what you were trying to do - but Nazi death camps are NEVER funny.
