Just yesterday I got an unsolicited phone call on my business direct line from CVS Pharmacies reminding me that allergy season was just around the corner... and then I hung up. I often do not check the caller ID when in the office because I take so few calls during the day. I have never had an allergy in my life. I have no idea how I got on that list, as I have never used them to even fill a prescription before.

Those are some pretty weak offers compared to the one I got this week.  My offer involved a 50/50 split of $9.5 million for helping close the estate of someone I'm not remotely connected to in Spain.    Normally I would be skeptical of an offer like this but the letter indicated it was "completely legitimate and risk free."   So what could possibly go wrong? 

If you've ever got the time and want to read one of the funniest interactions between a scammer and a "victim" who ends up scamming the scammer out of $150 worth of gold Google search Pierpont Weaver and read the exchanges between the two.  You won't be disappointed.  It's hard to believe a scammer could be as stupid as this one.

Same here. I'm a Seinfeld junkie! At the moment it's hard to find in syndication around here. I wish someone would run a couple of episodes between 10-11pm. Slow around these parts. We've resorted to discussing sitcoms, and syndicated ones at that.
