I got a 91%.

Concordia is in Moorhead, not Morehead.

A tradition unrivaled...

I got the Augsburg Auggies wrong!  Knew the right answer, but they have an eagle for a mascot, so I instinctively picked it.

I thought I would give us D3 football fans something to do over the long offseason while we wait until football is back so I made a MIAC Football quiz on Sporcle.com...

https://www.sporcle.com/games/lineman7355/miac-football-quiz

Have some fun, let me know if I got anything wrong, and post your scores...and let me know if you want some more.  I'm working on some other D3 quizes and once I have a full list I'll post a link.

71% for me, but for an alum of a Virginia college living in NC I'll take it. I liked the "States by DIII Football Helmets" quiz too.

I got 31%. What do you expect from a Mount Union guy? And I guessed at several of the answers. Tough quiz.
OK. What was the name of the head cheerleader for Mount Union in their first championship year of 1993? Never mind, I don't know either. Just wanted to get back at you guys.
Have fun and Go MIAC. ☠🏈😬
I'm old! I get mixed up and I forget things! Go Everybody! 🏈 ☠

Another benefit of Asia Pacific travel is you sit on a plane with nothing to do for 8 hours but watch downloaded Netflix shows. A friend recommended Wild, Wild Country and it's fantastic. I barely remembered the story from when I was in high school but the events that happened are unbelievable.  I was stunned as I had no idea of the details. Six hours of riveting documentary that is informative, frightening, tragic, infuriating and rewarding all rolled into one.  I highly recommend it.

Oz, thanx for the recommendation. The Mrs. and I started to watch it last night. So far, so good. We're right there with you - being teens when it all went down, it seems a bit surreal as we watch.

83% - fun quiz!

Naming the mascot, followed by the city almost tripped me up - Carleton College is NOT in Carleton MN - almost got that one wrong just because I was on the pace of hitting St. Johns = Johnnies, Gustavus = Gusties...

Wait until you get to episodes three and four.  If it wasn't first-hand documented in news casts and home videos then you would never believe it. I know I wouldn't have.

I was (very tactfully) discussing the doco here at the conference. One of the Indians at the dinner table said his "uncle" is currently a member of Osho (what the cult became).  Creepy.

MiacMan

86% for the MiacMan. I might have to change my name!  :o
