Ha ha!  Your sarcasm fails to hide your sweaty fear!

I predict the Johnnies will be raining touchdown bombs on its hapless opponents to such an extent that a call will be made to the UNHRC for some sort of protection.  Dbacks will walk from the field wide-eyed and startling at the slightest noise like the shell-shocked veterans of WWI trenches.

It's almost enough to break my callous exterior and expose the soft, compassionate innards.

Good stuff as always Sir Oz. Read with a British accent, this sounds like a Monty Python skit. John Clease to be exact.

Whilst a Monty Python reference has more than likely appeared in a MIACPP post before, to specify John Clease I believe is a first.   ;D

BDB- is your squad ready for Point a Minute Offense Part 2?  :o
I'm sure the pregame tailgate party will include an appearance from Ritz72 an original member of Point a Minute Offense  ;D
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

What a game!  Heart attack central.

Despite the inconsistency, the Hawks are poised to enter the post-season with a great seed.  There are three games to go and the Hawks' destiny is in their own hands.

I need a beer.

Here are the highlights. Watching them almost put me into the emergency room.

In fact, there must be something in the water because the whole weekend has been full of heart attack thrill rides and it's only half over.  These are the last two minutes of Adelaide v Port Adelaide, decided by 3 points:

If your squad was classy, the final TD would have been scored by a senior backup OL in at FB

Should have went for two or ran a fake xtra point with an o-lineman throwing the ball between his legs to the kicker!

That's ridiculous!  There's no team that would run an XP play like that.

Well, the weekend in footy ended very poorly after what had been the tightest round in 112 years.  A player on the West Coast Eagles king hit an 18-year-old Fremantle rookie playing his 17th game of senior footy right in the mouth.  Four lost teeth.  A shattered jaw.  Blood everywhere.  It was very ugly.

The kid's mother was freaking out as she thought her boy was dead as he lay on the field unmoving and medical staff are running left and right, obviously distressed themselves.  The rest of the Fremantle list went after the West Coast player, knocking him out in a legal but very hard tackle.  Old school justice.

Anyways, it's interesting to see what will come of this.  Potential criminal charges I would think.  I've never seen anything like it.

Did Coach Ramler ever emerge anywhere?  Is he out of football for this season?  Permanently?
