@raiderguy;

You're dealing with someone from the BC of the midwest.  Watch yourself.  He's very smart.

Short and sweet. +K

I'll let his own posts attest to how smart or how ignorant he is. ☠🎓

All I can say is I hope that UST's runner up conference finish will be enough to get them a post-season berth as the UMU/UST week buildup will be brutal.

Hello MIAC brethren!

I see the "rev" is back in action.  It's nice to see when the lesser of all that is D-3 is all spunky & full of vinegar!  Weird week as I am riding the roads of MN this week.  Today was Rochester, Lake City & Red Wing.  Having never been to Rochester previously, it was enlightening to see just how much the Mayo Clinic can mean to a city.  Word is they are in expansion, and the town could swell to 130-140K in population in the next few years.

Tomorrow I will be fairly close to USTD.  I may or may not kiss the ground that Glen walks just to cover all of my karma bases.

I am a HUGE fan of Minnesota (in the summer)!!!!  By the way, the rep I rode with today said something like, "sorry man, I never played hockey & I don't ice fish".  I just shook my head, rolled my eyes, and prompted him to move to Indiana ASAP.   ;D ;D ;D

Oz, ummm...been there and have done that so USTD's road to the Stagg Bowl would have nothing to do with UMU.

Yesterday afternoon/evening Bethel Football Alumni were invited to come watch practice and then have a burger or brat and mingle with the current squad, so after work I stopped by and had a very good "sneak peek" into many things BU. My top take away was that this year's squad appeared to be a bit quicker/snappier than the past couple of years. Another good sign is that the numbers are up with over a hundred guys on the squad this year.

It sure was fun reconnecting with some of the guys I used to play with and those just before or just after I was there. I think there were as many "gray haired geezers" as there were of the more recent grads of the program. Everyone was speaking of having a better year than BU has had lately. How much noise will Bethel be able to make? We'll have to wait and see. This morning Bethel and Macalester are scrimmaging at the Scots field. Wish I didn't have to work so I could swing by to see how the offensive and defensive squads do against an opposing team. They sure looked good to me yesterday afternoon.

Lastly, while mingling with the players on the field, I had a fun chat with a freshman DB from Florida. To see the sparkle in his eyes and genuine desire to do well as a Bethel player was heartwarming.

Oh, UMU/UST is going to happen this year, but it won't come from a 2nd place conference team. It will be in a National Semi-Final from two top and undefeated regional seeds. It will be a total "war" in Alliance that goes down to the last minute. You heard it here first.  :-X

Loved reading your post on going back to the old alma mater to watch practice. "Gray haired geezers"? Wait a minute. I myself am a gray haired geezer (Mount Union class of 1957). But we still support our schools. Of course, sometimes, we need to be supported! But I digress. Just having fun with you. Wish the best to Bethel this year. ☠🏈

Have any of the UST faithful ever been to Alliance,Ohio UMU campus? The game-day atmosphere is almost as good as SJU  8-)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

If UST comes to Alliance as you suggest, you better come also. I'll spring for a Milwaukee's Best. If the game goes as you mentioned, we'll have several afterwards to celebrate Mount's victory. (Did I say that?) well, whatever. Go Tommies! Go Raiders! Ready or not, Go Everybody! ☠🏈🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

Hold everything! Almost as good a game day atmosphere as SJU? OK, we don't get the crowds you guys do. But then again, nobody gets the crowds you all do. Hey, we live a sheltered life. We think we have the best tailgate, best crowds and best atmosphere for a game. Don't puncture our balloon. I won't listen to any more on your "alleged" great game day. So there!
I close by saying - Go Johnnies! Go Raiders! What the hell, Go Everybody! ☠🏈🍻

MUC- You can bank on me being there! I'll have a Yeti full of "Beasts" as they are affectionately referred to as by the young socialites in these parts. There will be as many with your name on them as you possibly could care to drink! Bring your crying towel though, my prediction on the outcome does not align with yours (did I just say that?). I thought I better bring the beer because I know you forget things. BTW are those mugs at then end of your posts your tally for the day? Go Everybody! Season is almost upon us!  :)

The beers at the end of my post are what we both may need if this game happens. And I won't forget the Milwaukee's Best. Some things are always with me. I keep my priorities straight. I like to ........
What were we talking about? I get mixed up sometimes.
Go Generals! Go Wildcats! Wait. Is that right? Good chatting with you Wesleyfan. I gonna go now. ⚾️❓

Thanks for sharing!  I would of course love to see them challenge for the MIAC again this year, but it sure seems like it is UST's to lose this year, and SJU will likely be tough to overcome as well.
