Does anyone here collect the bags UST annually hands out at the MN State Fair? They go through a ton of them, so I figure someone here must have a few. Here's the new design. What do you think?

Our kids are both in college now but I notice a lot of you guys have young kids and you could use the bags for your kids dirty diapers at The State Fair or preferred MIAC football game this fall.

Some unfortunate news out of UST. OL Joey Koppelman had surgery to repair his ACL/MCL: https://twitter.com/TomKoppelman/status/1032990403736289280

RED ALERT!  RED ALERT!
SJU TO OFFER ONLINE TICKET SALES FOR FOOTBALL AND BASKETBALL IN 2018-19

I just ordered my three tickets for the Johnnie/Tommie game.  Section 106.  I recommend anyone interested in a Johnnie game this year get on this quick.

I'm curious where these reserved seats will be because as of 2017, basically everything except the first 5 rows and the sections near the end zones were reserved for season ticket holders.   This is a good thing, though.  One of the huge benefits of being a season ticket holder is that we don't have to roll into the stadium early to get a seat.

Edit: Just took a look.  So, basically, the only general admission seats are in the front, near the end zones.  More money for SJU, I guess.  I wonder if this was a Jimmy G initiative?

A tradition unrivaled...

I have row G in section 106.  I'll stand and wave a hankie at section 105.  :)

Highlights.  This Hawks squad has shown amazing character over the last six straight wins and has dug out some very tough victories.  Here's hoping we see similar grit from this year's Johnnie squad.

As my son took a 2nd tour of UST yesterday (gulp), the Tommies seemed to be scrimmaging a team called the "Thunder."  (that's what it said on the scoreboard)  In the 3 plays I watched, the Tommies scored a touchdown on a 10-15 yard swing pass.

Good luck to both teams and if anyone has a report please pass it along BDB.

And/or WaHooWa of course.

Youngest daughter moves in next weekend to Stout, missed the scrimmage by one week.

Well, if anything, TIU looked alright on offense. QB Jonathan Santos completed 49 of 68 passes for 732 yards and 6 TDs. WR Devonta Archer looked like an athlete. Should be a good first test for UST next week.

I would guess it was Fond du Lac out of Cloquet, but maybe Wheaton wanted to make the long trip and see the fair.

They were wearing orange uniforms if that helps . . .
