Supporting everybody is just what it means. I would like to see all the Dlll teams do well. Never try to misinterpret what I've said. You don't know me well enough and you aren't smart enough! ☠🏈

And Mount Union is not a loser. Are you paying attention? Does 13 national championships ring a bell? Or has your bell already been rung too many times?
Never talk about how good your team is or how good your coach is when you're talking to a Mount guy! Good luck on the season! ☠🏈

SJU game notes are out: https://www.gojohnnies.com/documents/2018/8/29//090118_UWStout_GameNotes.pdf?id=1325

The alumni office also sent an email with some details for the upcoming season. Included was a detail that the tailgate lot will close at 12:30pm. I think there were some instances last year where the tailgate crowd during the game rivaled the in-game attendance at many MIAC stadiums. This seems like a way to encourage fans to make it up to Clemens.

They also had the details on the streaming costs and what the dollar will be used for. I get the revenue element of it and think it if you're fan of a SJU you should pony up the dollars to get access and support the program. My concern is will it limit the broader exposure the program and university might get from people stumbling across the game.

Are you sure? UST and my other universities are all accredited with PhD programs...    ;)

Give it a rest. Mount Union has 13 national championships. How many does your school have?

I didn't know MUC was in the MIAC. Never talk about how good your team is when you haven't thoroughly read my post.

And I apologize to the other posters on this board. You are all, supportive of your teams, but decent to chat with. We do have some fun. Isn't that what this board is all about? I'll stop before I get in more trouble. My team's record speaks for itself. It doesn't need defending by me. Go Everybody! ☠🏈

Awesome thoughts. Thanks for sharing that, now back to bickering amongst the SJU/UST peeps with the sage advice from MUC57 that we are all used to reading.

Debating Coach Caruso is the bickering that we are used to reading!

It's a very predictable cycle.  SJU folks state their case for why he isn't to be liked, UST folks state their case for why he is.

Neither side is ever going to change their opinion of the guy, so the humerous part is that they keep trying.

Personally, I like his enthusiasm and energy, but do think he could do more to not outright embarass opponents.  The best part is, we're all 100% right, because it's subjective!

Sure glad football is back!

And maybe someday when Bethel beats one of us again, you'll have a target on your back too!

;D ;)

I, for one, will not be paying for the video, may tune them out altogether-this is an officious money grab.

I know the last time you guys kicked someone out of your school for drinking was in 1902, and it came back to haunt you in a big way, but children? You guys should have SOME standards as to who brings you booze.  ;)

Whether or not that is true, I do agree with SJURube -- it will mean no casual fans and no non-SJU (or opponent) Division III football fans will be watching the games.

I've been living free off radio and video broadcasts the last 20 years.  I reckon it's fair that I pay now.
