How about golf clubs-what is everyone using these days with no Nike clubs?
Had Nike, sold to a friend last year after they exited golf business.
I currently am playing custom clubs by a guy who's name you'd recognize. He designed for the big names for years, then opened his own studio years back & sells though club fitters.I have forged irons & tour grind wedges. 10.5 degree Ti driver,1 degree upright. Graphite shafts, pured, in everything.
About half the price of the "name brands" and they are fit for me.
Too much detail? I'll stop.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I was afraid of that. Thanks anyway. Hey, I live in Alliance. What do you expect? Keep in mind I' m old. And have you ever been to Alliance? Not much here. Mount Union and a bunch of ducks.
But, I once knew a guy that had a gun and used to hunt. Of course, that was a long time ago. Guess I'll never make it in Cheese Country. Oh wait, that's the other one isn't it? I gonna go now! ☠🏈

You just triggered 90% of this board. Nothing gets a native Minnesotan riled up more than mistaking him for a cheese head.

Aw, I was just funnin with y'all! I once met a guy from Minnesota when I lived in California. Seemed like a nice person. I think he was a hippie! Kept chanting about freeing the Chicago seven. Wanted to make love, not war. Smoked funny looking cigarettes. Ah, the old days. 🍺🚬🌸
I'm old! I get mixed up and I forget things! Go Everybody! 🏈 ☠

Some words from Coach Johnson about the QB situation at BU, bye week practice and facing a former player, now the head coach at Gustavus. Enjoy!

Doesn't bother me any. I'm a transplant from North Dakota so I'll never fit in. In Minnesota they have a creed: "One of us." If you're not born in Minnesota you're not REALLY a Minnesotan. Unless you're famous, then, if you've had a one hour layover at the MSP airport once 15 years ago you're officially a Minnesotan.

My favorite part of any Minnesota cocktail party is the person you're talking to looking over your shoulder to see if there's anyone more important they can talk to.

I really like it here.

Does that mean Larry Craig is officially a Minnesotan?

Understood, but I'm not sure the most notable thing about Larry Craig is his politics...

Mr.MIAC

A friend just sent me this story...somehow I missed it over the past couple of days. On Tuesday, my son and I stopped by a pub in our neighborhood to pickup some fried chicken. There's a Chinese takeout across the street from the place, which we walked past on the way home (where the reporter is standing in the video). It turns out that a young woman was murdered on that spot roughly 30 minutes after we walked past. While she was jogging a stranger approached, knocked her over, and repeatedly stabbed her in the neck. That easily could have been us. I'm a little shaken and counting my blessings right now...

Speaking of hunting, I have an extra pair of Barbour Tweed Sporting Breeks that I was going to put up on Ebay. They’re new with the tags.  I bought them as a backup pair, but they were never used. Retailed at over $250, but I’d give a heavy Post Patterns Discount. If anyone is interested, let me know. They look very similar to this pair:

I'm a Carhart guy, but if they come with a Elmer Fudd hat I might consider it.

I would have thought you already had a pair. Aren't you on the UST alumni shooting team?

How do I get on that team?  I'd love to shoot some UST alumni.

Ah yes, jokes about shooting your fellow man (and woman)...stay classy SJ2, stay classy. I shy away from trying to constrain humor, but when are jokes something other than banter? When they make light of shooting people...

Twas a joke about grammar, as in the lack of a hyphen made the previous sentence’s meaning ambiguous. Nice swing, but you can’t hit curveballs.

OK-no guns, dog died 3 years ago, but have an SUV-2015 Tahoe.

It's a damn shame Waylon Jennings has ridden his horse into the sunset as I think there's the makings of a country music classic in this post.
