I saw that Josh Parks is listed as a senior this year. If my memory serves me correctly, I thought he had one more year of eligibility?

Josh Parks is a junior.

He's listed as a senior on the roster. Just wondering if he's planning to come back next season.

Also makes me wonder what we might see out of Trettel this year and if he will be back if he doesn't play this year. After those two are gone, I like Loeffler and what I have seen of Rice

I talked to Trettel's dad after the game today. It's doubtful that he'll be back for another year. He's hoping to be back for the playoffs if they make it. If not he'll call it a career.

Tommies looked as good as advertised. O-line protected well. Perra looks great, as did Green, Palini and Parks. As good as the offense looked,  the defense is even better. That sophomore corner from Blaine (Gerrity) is really good which is a nice surprise. I might add,  Eau Claire is a good football team. They are going to win a few more games.

SJU dropped the ball on the homecoming bouncy houses this year.  Really a bummer when your kids are expecting it.

Not much to glean from the whupping that took place at Clemens today.  Carleton was clearly outmatched, and turning over the ball 6 times will kill any team.  The Johnnies were notably faster on both sides of the ball.  It was a beautiful day for football!

Nearly made it a triple monkey stompout!

A tradition unrivaled...

Yep.
Sat in front of him at the Linfield game a few years ago when Jordan Roberts broke his single season rushing record

Hell of a running back played against him in the first round of the 1990 playoffs and that was a hell of a game we lost 24-23

Yep, Gary Trettel, great guy,  great player back in the day.

Echo Duff,  great fall afternoon for football or anything else outdoors! To bad about the Bouncy house. That would have never happened under John!

Why provide a free bouncy house when you could sell access to a premium bounce house for $10 a game or $45 for the whole season?

Reports were that the Bennies really enjoy the "inflatable toys."   ;D

I bet they beat Stout, Point and possibly RF.

No bouncy house? How could they?

Fun fact from yesterday's Cobber drubbing of Hamline...18 different players ran the ball for the Cobbers, which I believe is a team record (if there are records for such things). Nine of them had at least 3 touches. Good thing it was a home game.
If the human brain were so simple that we could fully understand it...we would be so simple that we couldn't.

Yeah, make fun of me all you want, but when the homecoming festivities have featured several bounce houses every year for as long as I can remember and you've got kids that have been hyped for it all week, it's kind of a ****ty thing to say, "Hey kids, thanks for behaving during the game, but that fun that you were looking forward to, yeah, well, it's not happening."

A tradition unrivaled...

It sort of let the air out of the whole day.
