ESPN College Gameday had a short piece on John and will be picking the Johnnie-Tommie Game later in the show.
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Mr.MIAC

I just spent some time catching up on the many pieces written about John this week. Lots of photos of past SJ2/UST teams. One thing that stands out, aside from the great reverence for John, is just how much bigger the current crop of SJ2/UST players are than their forebears. Not that size equals talent, but the current guys look like they're built to be playing at a different level. When did we start attracting these monsters to the MIAC?

As I posted earlier this week, when I was a student we had a 3 time All American GUARD that was listed at 6-1 and 220.

On ESPN's College GameDay broadcast, all but Lee Corso picked St John's to win today in the largest rivalry game in NCAA Division III football! GO JOHNNIES!

Mr.MIAC

We're hour out an 4 of us have polished off a case plus a half liter of Scotch. Need to slow down.

Saw that. Took it as a bad omen. Too many "experts" spoil the game.

Mr.MIAC

I hear the wolf population in Minnesota has rebounded in recent years. Did the Johnnies lose any Bennies on the way to Collegeville this year? If so, my condolences.

Condolences to all SJU supporters on the passing of a legend. RIP Coach Gagliardi. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.

A healthy outcome for all involved.

Roll Toms!
