I was going to say that the fact that you have a GIF in your profile, and an image in your signature, would both provide clues that you are comfortable enough with computers to not be in your mid 80's.

Ha ha, yeah.  Throw in one good beer with a couple of ****ty ones and make sure the good one is only available in the sampler pack.  Then, people will be forced to buy the ****ty beer, too!

We've got plenty of that.  I'm a suburban dad and haven't been on the scene in Mpls in a while, so take this for what it's worth.

Uptown is for hipsters.  I avoid it like the plague.

The entire area has exploded with microbreweries in the past 5-10 years.  The North Loop area is pretty popular now--Target Field is there.  Downtown West wouldn't be a bad option.  Northeast can be fun--not sure if there is much for lodging in that area, though.
